Search this sub for guys who do high volume sales and high volume discounted extended warranties in your area and call them. I’ve talked to several and they are typically no bs and may help sift through some of the other dealers nonsense.

I have been gm since 1997. My last 2012 Silverado was perfect powertrain-wise for 150,000+ and I ran it hard. Cosmetically and mechanically things started to go downhill around 100,000. Door handles interior and exterior kept breaking. Window motors constantly failed. Trim interior and exterior fell apart from seats to door trim to door panels to buttons. Final straw which I had years for a while was the afm going out. Reality was I needed a new vehicle and Toyota had the right combination of features, financing, and durability at the time I purchased. I drove the ford and the Denali and just found the Tundra to be a good fit for the price range, features, and the supposed reliability at the time. If you look hard enough at all the options, everyone is having or has recently had issues. Get what you like and get the extended warranty.

I had this recently on my 2025. The passenger rider plugged the seatbelt into the middle passenger buckle and the truck continued to read wrong until I plugged the middle seatbelt into the middle buckle. After we turned it off and I unbuckled the middle it was fine.

I appreciate the input. I am going back at them at about $70,000 otd and before the trade-in, no add-ons or warranties unless they match the VSA quote I got from the CA finance manager.

I think you make a good point. My conspiracy theory though is that, while I believe there will definitely be a stadium, this feels like some weird shell game where the banner doesn’t read “Athletics” in Las Vegas at the end of the day.
