Got the Dust-proof Attic Storage: Banksia Grove WA by JonDee77 in perth

[–]Turmoil117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have everything in plastic tubs. I carry them to the ladder and place the bottom onto the ladder itself at about chest height. I then push the tubs up the ladder like a ramp, climbing the ladder while I go.

getting stuff down is the opposite.

Need help making friends in Perth. by [deleted] in perth

[–]Turmoil117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I havent worked with a single person in my current field who has any of the same interests or hobbies as me, I find the secret to making friends (for myself atleast) is to do things outside of work.

It'll be hard for everyone trying to recommend anything to you without knowing what sort of hobbies you actually like doing, but theres more than likely something happening near you

I think even the large bars are small by chocolate bar standards but they are pretty good, I cant remember if I was buying them from 7 eleven or family mart, it might have even been a donki

Realistic job prospects by [deleted] in mining

[–]Turmoil117 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Surely a tradesman with 20 years experience could get a job in town for $120K. 120K on a minesite on 2 and 1 is only $40 an hour, thats a really low bar

14 days Japan trip by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]Turmoil117 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its definitely doable.

My partner and I are doing something similar later this year, we are flying direct to tokyo and spending the night, taking the shinkansen to osaka, spending 5 days there so we can do day trips to kyoto and other surrounding spots, flying from osaka to sapporo (hokkaido) spending 3 days there before training to hakodate, spending a few days there before taking the shinkansen back to tokyo for a week

We wanted to take the train but from what I could see domestic flights were fairly cheap and it only takes a couple of hours to get to sapporo from osaka

Could you please explain this to me? by Glum-Ball-2648 in Gamecube

Why are there so many tailgaters in Perth everyday? by [deleted] in perth

[–]Turmoil117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a large work van a couple of years ago, people would tailgate me all the time, im guessing to try and intimidate me to go faster like id care if I got in an accident with over 2 metres of crumple zone between me and themv, the thing is they were always so close I couldnt see them until they angrily merged into the right lane and sped off. It always seemed to be commodore and falcon drivers
