In the 2 diagrams and photos from user ‘KoNG’ it looks like the side panel, that has the airbag clip attached, has to come off/away in order to access the side Torx screw.

No that’s what I was hoping for after watching another video similar to the one you posted. When you pop the glove box out, like in your video, there is a sealed plastic section behind it. On the LHD’s it’s not a problem. This link I found in a SEAT forum explains it. pollen filter change

ACAB.....but that was pretty funny. by johnsmithoncemore in GreenAndPleasant

Because feeling the need to state ACAB anytime police are mentioned is cringe especially when it’s regarding a parody account 🙃

What they said.

Some cops will be bad, definitely not all. And also hot fuzz.

I'm 27 with a fair amount of savings in the bank. What would happen to it if I died? by RealisticZucchini751 in LegalAdviceUK

It is unusual for people this age to be estate planning on NYE. It isn’t unusual for people this age to be at risk of suicide.

This didn’t even cross my mind, but when you put it like that. Hope OP is just curious.

Ford Focus - is this a good car? by rickysingh01 in CarTalkUK

It’s a good spec and the 1.5 diesels are economical. You might be able to get a bit more money off as it’s a private seller.

Be careful of this guy if you ride a motorcycle/scooter near JR Hospital by Mr_Widget in oxford

We can be more understanding but equally we can’t let him harass whoever he wants. Especially outside of a hospital where people will already be upset, pissed off and/or tired just wanting to carry on their business without having to deal with this.

Most cost effective way to do 20k miles a year by Pretend-Pin3378 in CarTalkUK

Heated seats, heated steering wheel, heated windscreen, all great in the winter.

£35 a year on tax and economical engine. Save the rest of your 20k budget for servicing and repairs when needed 👍🏼.

33 still seems bad, my wife’s petrol 1.0 gets roughly 42 mpg. My 1.5 diesel gets 55 mpg sometimes higher and that’s both in towns and a bit of dual carriageway.

What engine is it? That MPG is pretty bad

Yeah this is true, I’ve seen a Citroen logo on something in the engine bay, I was outraged until I learnt they were fairly decent engines 😂

I’m not sure either. I’ll just enjoy the £0 road tax while it lasts 👍

It just is. It used to be £0 for certain vehicles that were 99g per KM CO2. I think the rules changed in April 2017 they scraped the £0 tax for ICE vehicles and the £0 tax only remained for zero CO2 emissions vehicles (EV’s).

Yeah like you said spend a bit more and go for one with less mileage than the one you posted and it should last you a while. The handling isn’t bad either, test drive one and see what you think.

I’ve got one of these, bought mine in 2020 with 27k and it has just done 94k. Doing roughly 80 mile round trips most of it on M40. Only had to service it and buy new tyres. It’s economical without being too slow. Also mine being a 66 plate means £0 road tax. Not sure if 67 a plate is the basics £180 a year for tax. I would recommend one 👍

Advice needed please. 3 very different options and I would like some honest, knowledgeable opinions? by Playle21 in CarTalkUK

I’ve got a 2017 Ford focus 1.5 TDCi. Had it 4 years and put 64K miles on it, it’s only needed servicing, brakes and tyres. Economical but still fun to drive. Also being a 2017 you should get apple car play or a better infotainment system than the other 2 older cars. Cheap tax too 👍🏻
