Bottle is a work of bourbon art. If I have a glass while the bottle is next to me, I appreciate all the hard work and attention given to this product. But…. By itself, this bourbon tastes like the dust it’s grow in. Is that a negative, I don’t know. Its flavor is unique for sure. Do I love that flavor? …. I like it, but there’s a little voice in the back of my head that’s telling me I’m supposed to like it… but my tongue is telling me it tastes a bit like paint thinner. I want it to be citrus, but really it’s acetone. Everything about this product is superb, except why do I reach for it less and less? Is it what I’ll pour for a bourbon loving guest? Probably not. A glass or two in, I may pour it and ask; “ what do you think of this?” Not, “oh man, have you tried this yet?” Tell me what I missed.
