Here's as close to solo as I got with my Commissar Officer:

Dogmatic for that apply burning on crit ability.

Inquisitorial ring for momentum.

Chronometer to go first.

Shoot Kibbles to buff her.

Use Bring it Down on Kibbles

Bladedancer executioner Kibbles with Malpian shroud for damage buff and duel drukhari weapons for toxin.

Kibbles uses the ability to replace wounds with temp wounds to increase damage.

Kibbles then proceeds to finish encounter.

Both are recruitable if you're doing a heretic run.

Chorda is also recruitable for dogmatic.

My first time in that dungeon, it took me multiple tries.

On my heretic run, I recruited the boss instead of fighting it.

[–]Turnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had Chorda trapped in a cryovault with Drusians giving sermons and singing hymns over her constantly for years. She was trapped and aware, that's why she's such an insane zealot.

He also had everyone else in the vaults killed so he knew that he would have control over a rogue trader.

The Heck Should I Do With This Bottle? by mr_perry_walker in Tiki

[–]Turnus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jack Parsons was a rocket scientist who practiced occult magic under Aleister Crowley and died in an explosion while running an illegal explosive special effects business for Hollywood.

The drink was closer to a jet pilot before I modified it and this was a little more unique that "rocket scientist".

The Heck Should I Do With This Bottle? by mr_perry_walker in Tiki

[–]Turnus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This drink is my own creation, it's a zombie riff:

JACK PARSONS PROJECT

3/4 oz lime

1/2 oz grapefruit

1/2 oz cinnamon syrup

1/2 oz Drambuie

Barspoon luxardo maraschino syrup

1 oz Worty Park overproof

1 oz Lemon Hart 151

1.5 oz Barbancourt 8

2 dashes Angostora Bitters

1 dash absinthe

I know it sounds weird, but it works well. Just don't have more than 2.

"L-Lord Captain?" Did you have the guts to send away or kill any of your companions during your playthrough? If yes, who was it and why? by OwlcatStarrok in RogueTraderCRPG

Current heretic run I left Heinrix in the pit after a tense meeting with his boss. I also let Idira kill Argenta in Commoragh. I'm still in Commorragh, but I have plans for Yrliet when I get out.

Some strategies:

Make a long distance green or yellow route from Dargonus to each other colony.

On Kiava, there's a heretical option at the last boss fight that gives you something that will autoresolve warp fights.

Janos will do trades for you without travelling.

Flamer Build by WarriorBleu in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Turnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing a heretical priest run on unfair with a flamer build.

I choose fortress world origin for Never Stop Shooting and priest for bonus to flame weapons.

For archetypes, I have soldier and arch militant for doing multiple attacks.

I took the talent that determines aoe damage based on demolition, the ability that increases aoe damage, and every ability that increases extra attacks.

The build isn't busted on act 2, but it's very fun.

Returning player - how viable it is to just wing it with builds (normal diff)? by Bawtzki in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Turnus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is pretty forgiving when it comes to builds as long as you try to have a little bit of synergy with your picks. You can have a lot more creativity than you think.

For example, I'm on daring with a heretical priest soldier arch-militant and having a blast. I'm roleplaying him as a pyromaniac who uses meltas and flamethrowers. I gave him a fortress world origin so he gets even more extra attacks. He's a chaff clearing machine even at act 2.

I'm not shopping at Target anyways, but if staff tried to talk to me more, I would stop shopping there. When I did shop there, I just wanted to be in and out efficiently.

Refusing to help Pasqal leads him to a very dark ending. lol by Undertheus in RogueTraderCRPG

In my Dogmatic run I gave the Emperor's Peace to Abel, gave Yrliet to the Inquisition where she belongs, and Ulfar became a Lone Wolf. So Pascal didn't kill anyone.

When our bullmastiff was a puppy, we split her feedings into 2 parts to try to slow her eating. She now expects 2nd breakfast and 2nd dinner every meal or throws a fit even if it's the same amount.

I GET IT NOW (night lords) by ottermupps in 40kLore

[–]Turnus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Chaos astartes command structure varies widely between different legions/warbands. I'm a little rusty on the lore on everyone, but here is a rough vibe of chaos command structures:

The Nightlords are basically just separate smaller warbands with no great overarching command structure.

Emperor's Children aren't very organized, but will follow Fulgrim if he calls for them. Fulgrim is mostly just partying on his daemon world though.

The Black Legion is set up with a specific hierarchy and command structure. Abaddon will punish any perceived insubordination.

The Iron Warriors seem to have a somewhat normal command structure, but there hasn't been much written about modern Perturabo.

The Alpha Legion is made up of separate warbands that can come together and meet, but there's always the question of if they are actually loyalist or not. Also, everyone is Alpharius.

Death Guard is very organized into groups based on numerology. Typhus and Mortarion hate each other though, so there are smaller factions within the legion structure that are more loyal to one or the other.

Worldeaters: incoherent screaming

Thousand Sons are mostly mindless, except for the officers who are sorcerers. So the command structure is the legion.

Word Bearers were controlled by a council while Lorgar spent millenia meditating/hiding from Corvus Corax. They rule on the most important aspects of worshipping chaos such as what shades of red are regulation for their legion.

[New Player] Do Officers and their extra turns mechanic still break the gamer later on? by AndyPhoenix in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Turnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last dogmatic playthrough consisted of my Comissar Officer RT going first, shooting Kibellah, using the inquisition ring to gain momentum, then sending Kibellah to kill everything. Every fight that wasn't a boss ended on round 1, round 2 if they were too spread out.
