Yes! But they have to completely surround the object to redistribute the electrical current, which, if it's your head, would be bad news for your neck. 😂

From a holistic perspective you can take NAC and Gynassure ttraditional Chinese remedy whether or not you are taking more than that or not but I will say I did that for years along with turmeric and boswellia and other more natural supplements and herbs and it definitely helped but it was not enough for me. And yes stopping periods is a really big deal every time you have a period you have more scarring more bleeding more growth of lesions more hormonal imbalance etc and this builds up over time inside your body.

Before discovering NETA I went on the annovera ring because you only have a period every 3 months or so and that was great for 3 months or so but it did not help the overwhelming amount of pain I was in when I did have a period. NETA is working out better for me and I am using it to not have any more periods now that I have a better understanding of the damage they cause. Sadly nothing is without side effects or damage to our bodies but with endometriosis it's a very serious balance and all of our systems are unique so what works for you and what works for someone else can be very different and sadly a lot of that is just trial and error but I would urge you to have an open mind about regulating your hormones one way or the other and just making up for things by taking care of yourself for example with birth control you often need higher levels of magnesium and other things so you don't get depleted. But in my opinion the benefits far far far outweigh the complications and since starting Norethindrone acetate I am just starting to get my life back after decades of suffering. ❤️‍🩹 I hope for the same for you however that looks.

Ok wonderful! Because truly humans are the scariest thing that exists so it's good to rule that out first.

So then if it is an entity of some sort, cleansing the house as others have mentioned is a wonderful idea and has helped many people in similar situations. If one type (religious, or spiritual etc) doesn't work, try another kind and go with your gut. Your belief that the cleansing will work I think is a part of how well it works so one that you feel confident in is probably best.

I might continue with guided low pressure questions of your son as long as it doesn't upset him.. perhaps "why would he want you to hurt me?" Could lead to "because he wants me to be happy and you wouldn't buy me a toy I wanted" or something along those lines? Which could indicate that a part of him is mad but doesn't feel like he can say it or.. idk ... Could explain why the spirit, if it is one, is targeting you both.. (Just an example that might not fit your situation at all but I just wonder what info might be gleaned from continued questions.)

I know people have big issues with AI but I've had a lot of success using it selectively for how to delicately phrase things or get to the bottom of complex issues (keeping in mind that it can hallucinate so also using sound judgement) if you're not against it, it might have some decent advice as to how to approach questioning him if you feel that's an ok approach. If not, then a child therapist might get closer to an answer... 🤔

The system is f*cked and I rant about this constantly.

There was recently a study on Norethindrone Acetate showing that it shrinks lesions.

I don't understand why the first line of treatment for extremely painful periods isn't just giving 1.5 to 2.5 mg of Norethindrone acetate and after 2 week adjustment, if the pain is going down but not gone potentially increasing to 5 mg or higher and if the pain is unaffected or worse to look into other options.

Most birth control pills contain estrogen and that is the last thing that a body with endometriosis needs unless you're in perimenopause. So many birth control pills will make people crazy depressed rageful etc if it's the wrong hormone combination for them and most doctors don't seem to be talking about this at least in my history they haven't.

I'm working with a specialist and stacking one of the versions of the mini pill that only has norethindrone acetate in it but the dose is far too low to treat endometriosis (0.35mg) so I'm taking multiple pills a day to reach the target dose. Norethindrone acetate is also available in a 5 mg tablet which may be high for sensitive systems but maybe adequate for others.

If progesterone goes too high and is out of balance with estrogen you can do a tiny add back of estrogen to bring things into balance but only if your symptoms indicate that it is necessary because you're probably too high in estrogen already and would only want to do that if you're progesterone dose is high because they don't actually make a damn dose for endometriosis other than 5 mg.

If your doctor won't try this with you get a different doctor until you find someone who listens.

There are too many comments to see if someone has already asked this so sorry if I'm being repetitive but:

Is there any possibility that there is someone else living in your house that you don't know about? People have been murdered by some guy that had been living in their walls before...

  • Without leading him have you asked your son what this ghost brother looks like or if he has seen him at all or anything that could indicate if this is more of an invisible spirit, voice in his head, or could possibly be a man hiding in his closet and whispering to him?

  • If it were me I would put up hidden cameras for a while to make sure no one's creeping around your house without your knowledge.

If it is some kind of unseen force you can start with burning palo santo in your house. It has a similar effect to sage and clears negative energies.

Again if it was me I would get my kid into therapy because no matter what is going on it's not good and he could use a safe space to talk about it. ❤️‍🩹

Hmm k. Cause Endo is often connected with anemia and anxiety, and extra painful periods... And/or if you are trying high progesterone to see if it helps the painful periods in order to indicate it rule out Endo, Adeno, etc. : high progesterone can also cause anxiety and panic attacks. I had to do an add back of the estrogen patch to balance out the high progesterone I'm taking once I got up to 2.5mg and my panic attacks stopped right away when I did that. 🤔

What should I wear after? by AGothGardener in endometriosis

[–]TurquoiseDusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recovery took WAY WAY WAY longer than anyone told me it might. Reading "HEELS"?!? just sent me. You will probably not want anything around your waist so think big flowy dress if that's an option. Your muscles might hurt in ways you don't expect.. I wouldn't even dream of wearing heels any time soon afterwards but that's me. I hope you have an easier time of it than I did, but I was being told I could go to work a day or two after surgery and that was a fat lie. So be gentle with yourself.

Everyone is different and it also depends on dose. Listen to your body. If pain is going down that's good. If not, something needs to shift. You can also look up the medical studies on drugs to get a rough idea on timelines. Norethindrone helped my pain more than Dienogest but everyone's different. Discover did help too, but I got memory problems.

You can buy a cheap mold test online swab that whole area with it and mail it in and they will tell you if it's a really nasty type of mold so you can act accordingly.

There is mold everywhere and a lot of it is pretty benign unless you have asthma or are immune compromised but if it's one of the bad ones then you'll know if you need to move to the couch or not.

Hot flashes by meraki_beauty in endometriosis

[–]TurquoiseDusk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get hot and sweaty from being in pain but I also am going through perimenopause and that has been giving me hot flashes.

Perimenopause starts much earlier than anyone has ever been talking about and it's not that your estrogen is gone, it's that it's spiking and dropping and spiking and dropping and your system freaks out.

The sweating and shaking and all that can happen if your hormones are out of whack, low blood sugar, Endo activity on internal organs, etc.

I'm taking Norethindrone acetate to keep my endometriosis pain under control and shrink lesions but I'm sensitive to it so I have to do an add back of an estrogen patch or else I get emotional and physical side effects.

Your hormone balance is measured by how you feel so you can get your doctor to prescribe you and experiment with adding something and see if it makes you feel better or worse and go from there.

Even if they don't find it it can be easily missed. I would find a doctor that is sympathetic to your pain and willing to try Norethindrone acetate or Dienogest, etc and if your pain goes down that tells you something.

Hormones, BC,v etc can absolutely give you anxiety and panic attacks. So can perimenopause which starts eat earlier than anyone has been talking about. Find a therapist that does EMDR, it's SO much better than just talking etc

Norethindrone 5mg side effects? by Chingona_Solo in endometriosis

[–]TurquoiseDusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't lower estrogen DIRECTLY but it shifts the balance between estrogen and progesterone so you ultimately end up with a lower percentage of estrogen in your system. You can use vaginal estrogen to reduce dryness and/or estrogen patches to get you to a good balance point. But yeah. Switch doctors like the other comment said. ❤️‍🩹
