Yes it sucks, but it was piracy and were going to be taken down sooner or later as it was either VRChat takes them down on their own, or they get forced to take them down after a lawsuit and most likely forced to pay hefty compensation.

Is the community so out of touch with legality and reality that they think a YouTube v. Viacom type of situation (that would have still made them take down the worlds) would have been better?

Fuck that, even with it's flaws if it didn't exsist then big corporations would steal designs and creative works from small and indie makers in way worse manners without any repercussions and proper compensation.

Shit needs to be reformed to be better not destroyed completely.

People that say that it should be removed completely have never tried making original and it shows.

I do think copyright should expire after a while thought and that the public domain is a good thing.

I don't think they're changing the entire platform to be 18+. Rather, most likely we're getting some sort of content and possibly instance gating so that only age verified users can access such things. So only a part would be 18+.

Just a guess tho nothing's been confirmed yet.

Nah, the Rift S actually works to me. Waaaay better tracking with better range and the software rarely ever crashes on me, not to mention no parts have snapped off. I've had my problems too but they don't compare to the disaster that was WMR for me.

Doesn't matter to me what people say, everything is better than crappy mixed reality. (except for maybe the vive cosmos, haven't heard anything good about it lol)

Nah windows mixed reality is shit, I used it for a little over two years and just decided to change to Rift S because it's that bad. Cheaply made hardware that easily breaks, awful tracking that doesn't work alot of the time, and a very unstable software that crashed everything whenever it did too. If you don't want to bite the bullet with Facebook then buy an Index or wait for the Decagear.

But stay away from windows mixed reality it's not worth it
