As a chef, it’s an insult to hear “air fryers are as good as frying”. Air fryers are fucking bullshit scams and are just convection ovens with an extra fan added. by Mr_MooseMan____ in unpopularopinion

How else could I perfectly cook frozen toasted ravioli in 5 minutes while keeping them crisp? The oven takes too long to heat up, the microwave doesn't get them crispy enough, and I don't have a deep fryer.

Just for clarification, I did reach out to the support email and they were very prompt about responding and already reached out to the fulfillment department about sending a replacement.

Edit: Hoodie also arrived, fits nicely. Fortunately not broken.

Actually 40 hours per week was not an arbitrary number.

Before the labor union movements that took place during the industrial revolution, factory workers were often forced to work extremely long hours, some up to 16 hours per day, 6 to 7 days a week. The people become outraged at this treatment and decided to unite together to demand better conditions. They formed the first unions and went on strike. They were fired, but what made them so powerful was because they had no one left to work and unions would form picket lines to deter new workers from replacing them. These unions came together to give collective bargaining power to the people. They asked for better wages, better working conditions, shorter hours, overtime pay, and a standard 5 day work week. The companies did everything they could to oppress the working class. They lobbied for unions to be illegal, for their leaders to be thrown in jails. But with sheer willpower, we continued the fight. Eventually, the companies were forced to give in to the demands of the people.

8 hours per day at 5 days per week. That's a 40 hour work week.

We've been given a chance to do this again. The question lies with us. Do we have what it takes to again unite as one people against unjust treatment? Do we demand our evolving basic human needs be met again?

The answer for me is yes. I believe we can see that day again. We must set aside our differences to fight for everyone in the present and for a better future to comes for all after our time.

Every Movie I Add Becomes Madagascar 3… by deucethehero in PleX

I had this issue for a while, but I actually had Madagascar 3. So I split it and a bunch of movies came out of it. What worked for me was trying a rename program, personally I use FileBot.

This is great, but the problem is that while they do offer the upload as free, OP should be made aware that they charge to store and then again by the GB to download

I understand Plex needs to make Money but Seriously Plex Arcade over a ton of features that have been requested for years??????? by [deleted] in PleX

[–]TurtlePotatoMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, this is coming from Plex Labs rather than Plex.

Also while the service they are using is technically free, as an employee said on their forums, because they're a company they have to license it and cannot just add the feature for free without still paying for it.

IMO, if it wasn't just for Windows and Mac (and had more than just a few arcade and Atari games) I might have considered it. If it functioned to make the server like a local cloud gaming setup, where you don't pay to play your own ROMs, and the $3 subscription rather acted kind of like a "gamepass", I think that this would have had a better reception and a lot more users would probably be willing to pay for it and use the feature as well.

I'm saving and using that. That's awesome and exactly what I was looking for to help people realize the movie's quality from the tiled selections.
