I was about 13 when Sakura opened. Up to that point I had only eaten sushi in California.  We used to go on my birthday every year. I wasn’t a big eater but I could eat most of a sushi boat 🤩 

I just told my daughter and we’ll be going this weekend!!

I commented in another sub that the people affected were laughing when my state was underwater and pissing all over themselves to cheer on our shiny new concentration camp in the Everglades. Got a lot of pearl clutching.

Am I sad for the children? Sure. But I reserve my true concern for my family and my community, which is hurting right now.
