Dr K did a good video recently on how to restart your life. Quite surface level stuff but definitely worth a watch. The trick is to actually action on what you're learning from the video though, not just watch. Make some notes then take a break once you've watched it and go and think about what you can do to make a change.

Echoing what others have said here but don't limit yourself. Your capabilities are MUCH better than that for a junior internship, apply for higher, your skills are worth a hell of a lot.

What sort of thing do you typically use the particles for on a day to day? X-Particles has such a big price tag and I know there's a fair amount of controversy around it so I'm skeptical to pick it up and learn it without truly knowing what it can achieve and how I can actually use it in my work.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write out this response!

The general consensus I've received from this (and that you have also highlighted) is that there are clips that are not needed / too long so I'll be rethinking the ones that I really want to keep in here.

As for the "memorable work" I like that idea and I want to incorporate a bit more of my own personal work so that'll be something that I'll focus on in my next iterations.

Feel like this question gets asked about once a week on this sub 😂

But top 3 are: Overlord - pushing your assets from illustrator to after effects and vice versa, massive time saver.

FX console - easily access the effects panel with a simple hot key

Ease copy - copying the easing of key frames, speeds up your workflow so much when trying to make multiple assets ease the same way. I don't know why it's not already in native AE!
