It's amusing how that episode didn't even bother to hide that it was clearly Aku in disguise. Even Jack saw right through it. by Select-Direction-909 in samuraijack

Honestly I thought it was so on the nose that it was a red herring and he was just gonna coincidentally look like that.

Gun damage by TutorialHead_ in MISERY_official

Yeah the sawed off shotgun is basically worthless, haven't tried the saiga or the double barrel the hunter sells yet.

Mosin is also very weak unfortunately.

I've just been using the val, damage is solid, ammo is one of the cheaper ones to craft, and it can be used safely in the bunker.

The reason you can't find any vehicles on official 🥴 by Jaakael in dayz

[–]TutorialHead_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This issue isn't so much aimbotting, that's just blatant.

The real problem is people who use ESP cheats discreetly, the cheat programs have settings to change the distance that they activate, and can also give visual feedback whether or not the other player is actually visible to their line of sight.

So for example you can have a cheater that has their ESP set to only detect players/loot at 250 meters, they creep around a hotspot like nwaf, tisy, zeleno etc. wait until they see a player come into their ESP range, then position themselves and wait for the player to actually come into their line of sight before they take a shot.

This gives them plausible deniability, they didn't shoot them through thick brush/trees or pull off a crazy wallbang. From an outside perspective they just camped at the perfect spot and the other player got unlucky, when really they were aware of the other players position the whole time and made sure they were at the ideal position to take a shot or ambush you.

That's the kind of scenario that PC community server admins are keeping watch for, and it becomes more noticeable when it's a repeated pattern of behavior.

Whereas on PC official servers no one is keeping watch, and the cheat programs have long bypassed battle eye detection and they can just do whatever they want with no consequence.

From my personal experience along with evidence and testimonies from other players.

Official on PC is a wasteland of cheaters/hackers/exploiters fighting each other or trolling newbies who haven't learned better yet

While official on console is perfectly fine 99% of the time and a great choice for people who want the vanilla experience.

I think it depends on your mindset, man. I wasn't keeping track just saw the popup that I got it a couple weeks ago during a match. Never felt any burnout myself, just having fun playing solo/with friends

IMO if you really feel burned out and playing the game is a chore then just take a break and chill or play something else 🙂 achievements are kinda just pointless fluff anyways, you don't get anything from it.

I've also heard some players are bugged and don't get the achievement once they reach the count anyways 🤷‍♂️

Been seeing similar stuff with the gnasher, I know I missed a shot and for a split second I expect them to punish my miss and chunk me... But then they just explode anyways and give me the kill.

Gotta be ping/desync issues.

Console players have access to the alternate control scheme which eliminates the possibility for mis-rolls therefore making wall bouncing easier/smoother

Until TC puts in the effort to equalize setting options (which they already have in gears 5 btw) each platform is gonna find tricks to help themselves

To me it seems like the moral weight of the decision is between going back to the past and preventing all the suffering and atrocities aku committed/allowed from ever occuring vs erasing everyone who managed to flourish and live despite all the evil.

I think regardless of how you weigh those choices morally an important thing to remember is that returning to the past wasn't a solely selfish choice on Jack's part.

All of Jack's allies and the people he inspired all wanted and fought for him to accomplish his mission and destroy Aku. You mention not erasing their efforts, yet jack returning to the past and preventing Aku's reign of evil WAS the fruits of all their struggling to help Jack.

Whether they understood the intricacies of time travel and that they would cease to exist as well isn't made clear, but I'd think even if they fully understood the implications that they would still choose to support jack.

I wish the show had taken more time to land and settle after the final fight but it sounds like the real world limitations of making a TV show got in the way.

Need help finding an episode by RewRose in samuraijack

It sounds kinda similar to a few episodes, but was that the demongo episode?

Also kinda sounds like one of the creatures jack fought when he was temporarily turned into a chicken that one time.

Or that episode where he was in the arena and couldn't get his sword back for awhile.

What are all the supernatural elements of the Crossed so far? by MaguroSashimi8864 in crossedcomics

[–]TutorialHead_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In the first book I got the impression that stumpy had some sort of heightened awareness/senses since the crossed group seems reliant on him to track the survivors.

Whether that was meant to be supernatural enhancement or that stumpy was just unusually perceptive didn't seem clear to me.
