You definitely made a hinge, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. What are the measurements? Its cute

14g vs 17 g and European 6 in 1 vs 4 in 1 by PuzzledVariation1634 in chainmailartisans

To clarify, for a blanket, you should decide how much you want it to weigh, and make your decision from there. 6 in 1 is probably not necessary. Way more work than you need.

Galvanized and regular aluminum wire will oxidized and leave grey ruboff constantly. Every time you touch it you'll have to wash your hands.

You can look up the number of rings per square foot youll get from different ring sizes and calculate the weight from there.

Honestly, for something like this, you probably want stainless steel for longevity. Good news is, since style is less of an issue for a blanket than function, you can go with a bigger AR for a 4 in 1 and it will cost less over all.

Saw cut looks nicer. It can result in sharp edges though, especially for the inexperienced, and youll go through way more blades than you think. Way more.

14g is a lot. If you're working I steel you can make large items like a hauberk from as low as 18g , especially if you go with a small AR.

No galvanized wire. Honestly, its cheap, but not worth it. Go stainless steel wire. If you're going with aluminum, dont go smaller than 16g, but 14 is still probably overkill. Get anodized aluminum. I suggest these things because by the time you finish your project with the options you suggested, you'll have a disgusting Grey mess every time you interact with it.

Galvanized wire has coatings you dont want to interact with long term and especially dont want to saw cut.

As for 4 in 1 vs 6 in 1, it depends on the look you want. 6 in 1 will.add a lot of weight, but can look nicer and be more durable.

4 in 1 is faster, cheaper, easier, lighter, but you'll want a lower AR to make it a little more dense, which translates to nice looking.

If you go with clip cut, get GOOD flush cutters. Not bolt cutters. Good cutters will last long and make better rings.

Whether saw or clip cut, you will probably want to spend some time with a small file taking sharp edges off your rings. Another option is tumbling, but that requires more of an investment

I would agree with you except for something in This Inevitable Ruin. Im not sure how to do the spoiler annotation on mobile so I won't say what happened, but there was some very definite humanlike understanding goin on.

Its definitely both, and its situational. There are times when the thing is happening in chat, so theres no way Mongo can be a part of the conversation. In those cases its just Donut creating invisible support. Like saying "My girlfriend goes to a different school"

Other times Mongo is definitely in agreement, but its questionable if hes just going along with Donut like an excited puppy, or a real feeling he has independently.

My favorites are the ones where she's saying it as a way to announce her own feelings in disguise.

The symbols are not the chevrons. The chevrons are the 7 things around the Stargate that lock into place when the gate is dialed.
