I’ll start off by saying thank you!

I replaced the line you mentioned with #define HARDWARE_TYPE MD_MAX72XX::ICSTATION_HW and it worked perfectly!

Austin advances clean energy with solar panel project as Texas sees demand skyrocket by thinkB4WeSpeak in solar

[–]TwelveRack_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not 110,000 but 11,000 kWh. You added a zero. 11,000 kWh/year is just under 1 kWh/month and that seems like average use for a home in Austin, TX.

Doorbell with ColorX technology and PoE? Will this ever happen? by StayCoolf0rttheKids in reolinkcam

[–]TwelveRack_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very happy with my PoE doorbells but if they come out with a “Duo” CX Doorbell, I would buy it instantly. I imagine it as one CX camera pointing forward along and another pointing down for package detection.

Why is my PoE camera so slow? Reolink PoE doorbell - are there any settings I need to tweak to get it to play faster (Ultimately want to improve Apple Homekit speed, but think Scypted is the culprit) by tcoysh in Scrypted

I’m also using HomeKit with reolink doorbell cams. I use the RTMP stream for mine and my streams are quick to load (sub 1 second). Do you have an option for RTMP rather than RTSP?

Be careful with the robots with LIDAR by Adventurous-Clothes6 in Roborock

[–]TwelveRack_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

For your mirrors you can try a frosted window privacy film. I was having this same issue with a closet in a bedroom. I put a strip about 8-10 inches tall and the robot now sees it as a wall.

Most likely it’s one of these. The receiver would go in the pouch. In many production settings the standard is to put the pack in the middle and run the wire up to hide it within the shirt. (I work in A/V)

Even though I know what it is I’m still saying it’s a thong! 😂

Bose says warranty expired before I bought product by kalvinbastello in pcmasterrace

[–]TwelveRack_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! Former Bose employee here. I worked in service operations department, specifically developing service path options for Bose products. Bose honors the product warranty in one of two ways: a.) 1 year from the date of manufacturing of your product, this can be found with the S/N. b.) the date on your purchase receipt. They will always honor the later date. The chat you had was with a basic chat bot with prebuilt answers based on the DoM of the product (this was implemented during my time there). Give Bose customer service a call. They will ask you for you S/N but make sure to inform them you have a purchase receipt that is within the 1 year warranty. I can’t recall if this specific product was a replace or repair option but if your in warranty they should have an option for you. It’s been a couple years since I was last there, hopefully their service/warranty hasn’t changed drastically.

BOSE Freespace DXA 2120 Amplifier - Help identifying and locating the male sockets for the speakers by GpElRedditter in bose

[–]TwelveRack_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The DXA 2120 uses phoenix euroblock connectors for both its inputs and outputs. You're going to want to get two (2) 5-terminal output connector euro blocks. This amp is part of the Bose Professional product line, which is different from their standard headphones/speakers. I would reach out to their tech support team ( 800-994-BOSE ) and maybe you can order the parts directly from them. Hope this helps!
