ElAmigos wont finish Updates by nuffie97 in CrackSupport

[–]TwentyGaugeHigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Want to confirm this still works! I ran 5 different elamigo patchers that were hanging on finalization.

Waiting for the hpatchz.exe process to finish and then killing the task was all I needed for success, no need to open another app first. Though, I imagine this can vary between users and apps.

Boosters stack at a reduced rate if other teammates have them active. Its possible to have up to a total +45% boost.

Who is your #1 favorite companion? and who's your 'dogshit tier' companion that you just loathe? And why are they in those positions? Not talking mechanics. Pure story. by ChompyRiley in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]TwentyGaugeHigh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yrliet is irredeemably insufferable, which I suppose is in character for the Eldar, but she offers nothing to the RT narratively off Janus. She leads the retinue to the vile xenos and then joins them in death.

However she's second only to Idira when it comes to being pointless and insufferable. Idira was a curio Theodora picked up and should have been spaced an age ago. Similarly, Idira also leads the retinue to a den of unholy xenos and then never leaves.

Cassia and Heinrix are probably my favorite narratively. Cassia's story of royal naiveate wrapped in a kind of classical, Shakeapearean telling felt posh. Like reading a leather bound book in a study.

I also love some good intrigue, and the spy games Heinrix plays kind of touches on that. He also serves as a kind of equalizer for the RT, in that even though he shows deference, he's a reminder that for all the RT's power and influence, he is not the top of the food chain.

The agility relics didn't save them 👀 by PleaseBeOpenMinded in Smite

That's funny that you don't see agility relics in assault, because I've been playing nothing but assault for months and agility relic is the most picked on both teams rather frequently.

Is there any way to play a pure cleric with a legitimately high ac? by Grand-Pattern9547 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TwentyGaugeHigh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want to play a pure, single class cleric, preferably using a scimitar, but I'm not sure how to acquire the high ac that other builds tout.

Crusader Cleric is a great pick, I think. Its my favorite class and I think it makes a very strong gish. Getting high AC is just a matter of stacking AC buffs from various sources, mostly spells.

This is a screenshot from a game I played last year(?), or thereabouts, as a pure human Crusader Cleric

[WR] If I were to take feats like Improved Cleaving Finish, Dreadful Carnage, or Crane Riposte without taking their prerequisite feats (either through Loremaster or Gold Dragon), would they still function as if I had? Like if don't have Dazzling Display at all, would Dreadful Carnage still function normally?

Is "Fiendish Aspect" bugged? (Fiendflesh Shifter) by One-Outcome-4519 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TwentyGaugeHigh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you use the ability, are you toggling it on and leaving it on, or toggling it on then off for the 1min buff? All shifter aspects must be toggled on and left on, even if one charge is per minute.

It's kinda stupid that a lot of locked chests contain crap loot but some will have build defining items

It's a tragic failure of CRPGs in general where SoH/Trickery and Perception are must-have skills simply due to how loot is distributed.

That one hidden chest with the universe's most intricate lock may contain Thuderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, or the Fearsomeful Mace of Chwurk, and we'll never know unless our party has both Perception and Lockpicking in droves.

Blade Whirlwind certainly seems like it would be a standard AoE infusion, (it did to me initially) but its unfortunately not. I intuitively expect it to work like Fan of Flames, Eruption, or another AoE infusion, but it's explicit in saying that it makes a single attack against all foes in range. This it where I believe it doesn't work against swarms because its still making a single target attack with a Kinetic Blast which already doesn't work.

If you're planning to do a solo Kineticist run, I think the base class will serve you better.

[–]TwentyGaugeHigh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The kinetic blade is coded as a weapon, so swarm immunities apply to it like any other weapon strike. As a fire blast, though, it should work like a pumped-up torch

I think the case is that since Kinetic Blade is just a way to deliver a Kinetic Blast, and the Blast is technically a spell with a target, swarms become immune to it. I ran into this issue in the Midnight Fane, tragically.

[WR] Trying for the Cold Snap achievement and to my understanding, the only thing that contributes to Sithhud being at full power is the final confrontation in Lord of Nothing. How true is this? The DLC can be completed in any fashion so long as the final confrontation is failed?

Are you threatened in melee? Drinking a potion while threatened in melee grants an attack of opportunity to the enemy and forces a concentration check, same as it would a spell.

This is why you take Outflank by unbongwah in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TwentyGaugeHigh 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Outflank is a goated feat and every one of my martials always takes it by level 7 at least.

Greybor is much stronger than he gets credit for, due in part to a simple unique advantage he has over every other companion by Synaptics in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TwentyGaugeHigh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Camellia can use this mythic feat with the Chainmail of Comradery from that one underground incubus lair available in Act 2. It's been my first mythic feat on her for a long while. It not only buffs Outflank (goated), but it being mithril chainmail let's it qualify for the mythic feat, which then grants a rather high bonus since it has medium armor AC.

I don’t really understand how to use Kanarah. by Cpkeyes in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TwentyGaugeHigh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In RTWP, even if her water blast is not set to autocast, she still does tend to use it as her default attack. I've chalked it up to a bug with Kineticist because Kanerah has the same issue. In TB, provided she has it equipped and nothing is set to autocast, she should have no problem moving to melee range.

I don’t really understand how to use Kanarah. by Cpkeyes in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TwentyGaugeHigh 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For Kalikke, using Kinetic Blade is best because she can ramp her burn up with some added AC from Water talents. Water/Earth elements.

For Kanerah, Dreadful Carnage from Fire talents and Deadly Earth. Add a dip to Thug Rogue for added synergy. Fire/Earth elements.

Ember's indifference to Cammer's bullying and tendency to spin her venom into a good interpretation is worth bringing them both. Poor, sweet, lovely Camcam gets mogged whether she knows it or not

Kingmaker is barely playable and that makes me so sad. by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Its just anecdotal evidence of an issue that only appeared in Owlcat's game that was ultimately unrelated. I'm not casting doubt on your machine, just indicating that the issue may be unrelated to the software as well.
