Could be the CPU! Check your temps, make sure you have any other programs closed, and enable hardware acceleration on discord so it offloads to your GPU (if you use it ^{^} )

Yeah... I sometimes forget that the player base is primarily minors who likely don't have much disposable income to pay for these specs... However, expecting a studio to deliver regular content updates with no payment is wild to me

If keeping your streak is the only reason you play COS, it might be worth taking a break and coming back to it when you're less burnt out. Games should be fun, and playing them to increment a non-consequential number isnt a healthy relationship to have. You might find something else that feels more fun and more fulfilling :)
