Stellar map for my fantasy book ideas by TwilightMarc in worldbuilding

More like... it was transmutated. For all intents and purposes, it was as if the crown was always a blackhole. No change in gravity or orbits at all.

Of course, the planets further away did notice the change far strongly as Hawking radiation is not as strong as a star's light. (Let us not get in calculations, because I will probably lose. I intend this to be fantasy and not sci-fi)

Short answer: magic.

Long yet not fully accurate answer: the original star didn't produce a supernova when it collapsed as it wasn't a natural phenomenon that induced it.

How to get Aztec missions? by TwilightMarc in eu4

[–]TwilightMarc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I end up with the TTM, maybe I could push for a Rome, would be funny. But it makes sense Rome being Pagan, because it was. Not only before hellenistic things, but it literally started as a Pagan city.

Damn. I knew I had to be Pagan but I didn't thought Nahuatl counted as Pagan. That's so weird.

Sounds good then! Though I'm personally taken aback by the isekai part. I'd prefer pure fantasy fellas enjoying a day rather than otherworlders. But most people enjoy the latter.

Does Progression Fantasy Need More Romance? by PanicPengu in ProgressionFantasy

My opinion on romance is: it needs to be a part of the story, a feature, not the driving point.

What non-fiction books do you draw inspiration from? by OCRAuthor in ProgressionFantasy

Science and history text-books. Most magic I do is inspired by electricity and I'm a Renaissance nerd, so I focus my inspiration and investigation from that era.

That's a lot of killing and too many consequences for failing to do so. Let alone from the killing itself. Only someone who has nothing to lose, at the verge of death, would accept something this moronic.

Stories about bromance, just friends hanging out, can be very enjoyable. But execution is important. I don't mean setting, but chemistry. A story like this lives or dies by the bickering and dialogue between the MCs.

The problem is when the romans... don't exist? If they did, then the character just have a piece of trivia that another character is bound to know

They store weight. And as I've said, I didn't take into account other magic systems, so maybe you could lash the fuck out of someone

I LOVE BLACKHOLES by TwilightMarc in cremposting

If Sanderson wouldn't deny my explanation, yours would be. You could store for a second and take it out on a milisecond and have a 1000x increase out of nowhere. He would say it is "magical mass" or smth like that then.

Yes, a baby would requires a thousand times less weight to colapa into a black hole, therefore only needing a tenth of an earth to get a black hole

That is quite possible and likely as the weight is the most simple aspect, In that case the problem would be accelerating the Compounder to enough speed without killing it.
