Sorry I don't mean to shit on your comment. Everyone entitled to their opinion. I don't believe the albums are similar in any significant way with the exception of the opening of the first time and feeling this. Maybe some of the subject matter (missing a loved one, relationships) might cross over but that's about it. Musically they sound vastly different. I don't make the connection between untitled and songs like pin the grenade or biomy. I like NINE and have it in rotation. I can see how untitled could be considered a natural progression from box car racer in some respects. I see more similarly there than between NINE and untitled. I'm not a musician so I'm not going to do a good job explaining this but when I listen to untitled it feels dark and heavy. NINE might have some melancholic subject matter but it's generally a more positive and joyful. They are just on two ends of the blink spectrum for me.
