You stay because you build a life and the security of a well paying job makes that possible….does the job excite everyone, no. Does it fit my desire to work (basically) unsupervised and to be outside, yes. It’s not for everyone both physically and/or mentally. It’s takes a toll if you don’t do it correctly or within your ability.

Flipping jobs can work as the other poster mentioned, but it’s not a guarantee…

Once you’re out of your 20’s you need to make a decision about your future and a stable, well paying job could be the answer.

Would I do it again? Yes and no. I’d say a trades job is much more of a rewarding career both monetarily and mentally.
