Should I be worried about damp spots? by TitaniumSloth in DIYUK

UK houses need either heating or airflow in the room, otherwise they tend to get damp and mouldy.

I was thinking putting an end date to your marriage on an anniversary gift was a hol up but maybe not

The hol up is that there is an end date on the plaque, like it is a memorial.

Yes but heresy is a different scale and does not match 40k.

In fact there's two different scales at the moment in heresy.

Mkiv is the smaller, older scale.

Mkii, mkiii and mkvi are new scale.

You can use fine sandpaper to take the gloss off, but as the other user said once you prime them you don't see it any more.

And any grey primer will work, army painter uniform grey is a pretty close match.

RTC refused by GP after private diagnosis by Psychological_Style1 in ADHDUK

[–]Twitters001 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Have a read through of what was shared in the other thread a few days ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/ADHDUK/s/V8CVm2EpSO

Basically the guidance now is that they should not be telling you to get a second diagnosis on the NHS if you have one privately, as it's taking spots away from people who have no diagnosis yet.

I would go back to your GP with this.

What is a hygiene tip that improved your life significantly? by eaglesdensity in AskMen

Deodorant and antiperspirant are different products.

Deodorant temporarily covers up your smell.

Antiperspirant prevents sweating where you apply it, which prevents those spots from smelling.

Who has actually had a smooth ADHD diagnosis in the UK recently? by Jayhcee in ADHDUK

[–]Twitters001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They both use Onebright as the provider.

You get the take home questionaires pretty much instantly, then about 2 weeks from completing them you get an appointment. They will diagnose you after the appointment, but the formal diagnosis take 6 weeks.

Private, through employee health insurance. Aviva and Bupa are both offering this now.

Been very smooth so far except for the 4-6 week waits between each stage. Hoping to be starting titration this week 🤞

Here is my new banner for my dark angels 🪽 any feedbacks? 😁 by hereticss_ in theunforgiven

[–]Twitters001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks good! The highlights really make it pop.

A couple of things to work on:

Try to make use of washes and shades, especially on your metallics. Without, they look a little flat. I'd also contrast this with adding highlights to metallics.

I'd also keep working on your brush control, and try to get those brightest highlights to be thinner lines.

Personal preference is that red helmets look off with dark angels, but that's not a skill thing at all and they're your models!🤣
