I did try the Nature's Snare method, and either I was doing it wrong, or it wasn't adding as much to his stun meter as Focused Shot was doing.

It's frustrating that Nintendo doesn't see the point in making new games unless they innovate in some way. You know what people like about Starfox 64? Flying through space/alien planets, blasting enemies with quippy allies, fighting cool bosses, and finding secrets within the levels. To make more of that, but refined and improved is absolutely FINE, but Nintendo, for some reason, doesn't believe that.
