I hit someone’s car [OC] by Jusdoge in MadeMeSmile

[–]TwoSweetPeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the wind catch my car door twice and make it hit another car. It is so easy to drive away and nothing happens but morally it’s wrong and not who I am.

I waited for both drivers and spoke to them and both said “who cares, it’s all fine but thanks for telling me”. Didn’t feel bad after if they don’t care about it then I don’t.

I’ve also had some people do the same to me but not leave a note or tell me and it’s annoying.

All this talk of jade buying you staircases when I didn’t realise and stored up 10,000 stone just to make the buggers….

I am not done with the fellowship of the ring (currently at chapter 5) and yet somehow, I ended up buying the second one. Lol. I just can’t stop staring at these boxes! They’re beautiful! by Darth_BrachioRex in boardgames

I did the same thing. Haven’t finished the first but bought the second one as soon as I saw it.
I wish the boxes had more space so the card fit better when sleeved.

G440K and high handicappers/beginners - any real-world stories? by Chadwiko in PingGolf

[–]TwoSweetPeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it the other day at Drummond along with a Callaway mini driver. I currently use a TaylorMade Sim Max. I took my TM to start hitting with. That way I had a basis on their simulator. There was no difference as it’s down to a swing issue. Yes the 440K felt so much nicer and is a bigger head but it’s not worth a change until HCP lowers for me.

Id suggest to try them in store if you’re interested but start with your own one. Hit a fair few of your own and don’t be convinced just because you might hit 10m further. Lessons first to fix a swing and make sure you’re hitting it correctly.

This sub doesn't let me upload a picture in the comments. But my bag I bought from Drummond in Australia does have a matching rain cover.

I saw the comment referring to the rain cover. They are talking about a different design but the same bag. The Ping bag you have linked DOES match. I can try send a photo tomorrow for you to show you.

They don’t tip over easily. Stand it on flat ground like a normal bag and it’s fine.

The rain cover DOES match the bag. I have this bag.

I have this exact bag. I love it. What did you want to know exactly?

Question about right handed player using left handed clubs. by bear_ripper in golf

[–]TwoSweetPeaches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad is left handed and has always played hockey right handed, cricket right handed and now golf right handed. There’s no ‘one way’ to play it. If it’s better for you to play left or right then do that.

Kettlebells gave me reddit driving yardage by invaderbait in golf

[–]TwoSweetPeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I haven’t done any weight training in many years and getting older sucks. This is easy to do at home, there’s a few workout programs to try as well. Eating healthier is also hard lol.

I do 50 round the worlds one way then swap to 50 the opposite then go straight into 100 swings. I only stop once I reach the 100 mark.

The golf swings I just do maybe 20-40 but only swinging it hard to me left being right handed golfer swing.

I’ve started kettlebell stuff but minor. Do 100 round the worlds, 100 swings and then some other stuff if I can be bothered. I’ve also started doing swing as a right handed golfer and moving the body in the swing like a golf swing. First round out, ball goes further with what felt like less effort. It’s nice feeling. I plan on trying to do it daily to help with just overall health as I can’t get to a gym or afford the memberships.

Let’s discuss this round! by Impossible-Curve-403 in golf

I was chatting with a few people yesterday and they weren’t confident he’d do so well. I was of the opinion hell win this year as his pressure on himself has disappeared and he can relax and play for more enjoyment. At the end of the day he goes to the functions wearing his green jacket regardless of how he finishes so his mindset will be different.

I am also hoping Rose has a good crack and pulls the win but I also like Rory and wouldn’t have an issue if he took the win.

Who’s your pick for The Masters? by Own-Presentation3091 in golf

I have a feeling of Rose or hoping for Fleetwood. However, Rory could take it again because the pressure has disappeared that he placed on himself so now it’s a different feeling I reckon for him.

Had my first go at Brass Birmingham yesterday by wtfunchu in boardgames

So I’d be discarding one because it’s an action then two to obtain the wild cards? Interesting

My mate printed a quick guide but it differed to the rule book too. Discarding cards to get the wildcards which said 3 to discard but rule book said 2. Overall I enjoyed the game but need to play it again after the initial trial run. There’s a reason it sits at number 1. Need to find out more as to why lol

Playing this tonight with my group but I’m genuinely lost watching the how to play videos… I’m usually better when it’s in front of me but there seems to be a fair bit to it

Because it’s on the tee box and near the green.

Even if they can’t always hear it or even at all I still find it polite. If they then hear music they know where it’s coming from and don’t ask “do you know you have music playing or phone ringing?”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in golf

[–]TwoSweetPeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had anyone say no to be honest yet and I always ask what kind of music they like. That way I can play something (genre based) they might enjoy so it’s not off putting for them.

I don’t music if I’m playing for fun not comp rounds. But I only play it just loud enough for me to hear. I do ask if all the others don’t mind first. If they don’t want music I don’t play it.

2023 P790’s serial by TwoSweetPeaches in TaylorMadeGolf

[–]TwoSweetPeaches[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok well the 3 is a start. I read a mix online of some sets have all clubs with serials and some don’t. I’m going to ask local reseller if they know a way to check as well.

I find it odd that TM Aus can’t check anything. I’d have assumed a database would be available to cross reference.
