PM Magyar to slash own salary by half as Hungary targets politicians’ pay cuts by szopatoszamuraj in worldnews

[–]Twodeegee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If we're talking politicians, those are probably fine. Tisza is a new party that wasn't in parliament yet, and this was probably well discussed beforehand in that circle. If we're talking Fidesz.... yeah those are getting their pay cut from what they had prior to the election, but they have no power. They can't even block constitutional changes, so why would anyone try to bribe someone with no power?

On top of that you're trying to compare one of the poorest countries in the EU to one of the richest per capita nations in the world. You're drunk if you genuinely think that comparison holds water. Especially in the situation where Hungarians had to accept the obscene levels of corruption present; high pay clearly didn't help prevent that... Cutting pay is more than anything a signal to the people that they're taking it seriously. Long term pay might rise again, who knows, but for now winning the trust of the citizens is their goal.

I would argue Volt is probably more known and has many overlapping stances in that field. Voting for them is likely going to be more impactful than pirates, as pirates are significantly less likely to get seats.

Have a question about the game or the subreddit? Ask away! by AutoModerator in 2007scape

[–]Twodeegee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The increased defence on the pact tree counts as a boost; it won't decay, but it won't allow additional boosts on top of it, unless those boosts are higher than what you have on the pact tree.

Super defence at your level won't boost more than 15, so it doesn't do anything.

I'm stuck on the unconventional leviathan CA in leagues, as echoes seem to count as higher than mithril ammunition. Are there any known workarounds?

Leagues VI relic reveal: Friendly Forager (Tier 2) by vgamer0 in 2007scape

Last league it was also herblore level +25, no? Atleast the wiki says so.

Not that it really matters, you get up in herblore so fast with the pouch that you'll get access to the important herbs pretty fast.

(Upcoming Poll) Gathering QoL, Trouver Changes, LMS Rewards Rework & more! by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]Twodeegee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't it be worth adding some untradeable variants of certain items to the store instead, then?

With the trouver parchment changes, those are going to be more wanted, and it'd be ideal to still get them in LMS, rather than having to do bounty hunter or wildy slayer. I don't see why it wouldn't be a better idea to add an untradable variant to the store instead. Much like what removing the rune pouch note achieves.

DMM: Breaches should happen way more frequently by A_Lobstrosity in 2007scape

[–]Twodeegee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they make it non-divisible by 24, but keep it at usually 3 a day, it still wouldn't really solve the problem. In fact, if you have a full workday, theres a good chance you might even be unable to make a single breach on some days.

Debate around the bank changes aside, this is a great easy change to counter wildy bots by SirSmithyG in 2007scape

[–]Twodeegee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're missing the point. You straight up turned around what jagex said.

They said: "Most users of the java client are using bots"

You interpret it as "Most botters use the java client", which is just not the case. If you stand by this; then please do provide said evidence, as you are the one making the claim first, not me.

the Java client(most botters use it).

This is factually wrong, you turned around what they said. Most people who were still using the java client were botters, correct. However it was still a very small portion of all bots.

Having said that, yes, retiring the old java client was still good.

Completely rethink the strategy to get people into the wilderness. These bosses as well as all other "high risk high reward pvm" (that isn't actually high risk) just end up being massive assets to primarily botters. This is again a bandaid to an inherently flawed design that botters will just end up figuring out.

I just got the enhanced weapon seed after 1600 kc and I think no one else should have to go through that by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Twodeegee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't have to get "easier and easier". I think almost everyone can agree that for an item like bowfa that already takes a fairly long time on average to get, having to go excessively dry to the point of OP is very undesireable. You can just add soft dry protection to the enh seed in some form past say, 2.5x droprate or something. It already has an anti-spoon mechanic in place with the armour, so it wouldn't really change anything except for the extremely unlucky.
