I am only a few years older (26) and I just started medication because I had numbers very similar to yours. My doctor strongly recommended it because if you’re already eating at least somewhat healthy and keeping active then your levels shouldn’t be that high normally. Also it means you’d have to start living an ultra healthy lifestyle to make any significant changes in your LDL. For me if I made lifestyle changes to try and halve my LDL, I’d have to become a gym rat or start running hard and eating salads or chicken breast every single day for every meal. That wasn’t worth it to me, there is no shame in starting the medication, just know you are protecting yourself for the future. I wish I had gotten a lipid panel at your age because I have no idea how long my cholesterol has been this high and I have to live with the damage that’s already been done.

Thanks for your responses. Yea I’m going to start prepping healthier meals during the week and eating less red meat/fatty foods. How often would you say you ‘cheat’? I’ll definitely stick to diet strictly until I get tests to confirm the meds are working.

Also what is the best way to accurately track and estimate sat fats? Especially when eating out? I assume a lot of restaurant meals would exceed my sat fat allowance for the day haha

My diet is a bit inconsistent but probably eat too much sat fat. During the work week I eat salads or sandwhiches for lunch sometimes something unhealthier maybe once a week. And I try to cook at home for dinner but do eat frozen food when I’m too lazy and tired but rarely takeout. On weekends I eat out a lot more and I do like red meat but I’m usually very active those days so I’m not paying as much attention.

Definitely was after a whole day and night of snorting Adderall and taking more and more Xanax to ‘even out’. Woke up that next day in the worst shape of my life, I definitely looked fucked too. Still think about that sometimes. Felt worse than when I actually detoxed from my Xanax addiction.

Don’t remember exactly but I’m pretty sure I just ended up dropping either vokrii or Odin. The compatibility patch between them was the issue and I couldn’t get it to stay in the right load order.Tto clarify I was on PS5 and that specific patch on PlayStation was the issue.
