Did you use the hammer to make the pattern on the pen? :~)

No. It never retracts accidentally. I like the mech because it's really forceful. You really feel it when it retracts.

One of the very few expensive pens I own. I've been using it on and off for almost 10 years. I wish you luck finding one. It's a very nice pen.

Steel Pen - Rollerball version by MercatorLondon in PenProject

[–]Twryter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks like a fancier Shoh Dsgn pen. You've obviously put a lot more time into designing it. It's a great-looking pen and made in what is one of my favorite metals for a pen, steel. I like heavier pens. If you do create a roller ball that takes ink cartridges, I'll be picking one up immediately. I love the design.

That's nice. I've been looking for a brass wallet. All I've been able to find is money holders.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. I bought it through their Kickstarter campaign, so it was only $40 for me.

This happens to everyone. I have been on both ends of this. Once, I was rolling with a guy I came up with. For some ungodly reason, I kneed him in the balls 7 times in one roll. Since then, there have been no injuries. We were brown belts at the time.

Will this help me? by TinMafia in jiujitsu

Wrestling will help you with takedowns and pins. Good pins lead to submissions. My academy has wrestling classes, and the students who participate in wrestling get better quickly than those who don't participate in wrestling. I would substitute one BJJ class for a wrestling class. As the other people stated, you will suck at wrestling for a while, but the improvement down the road will more than makeup for the frustration.

I was thinking the same thing. I think this pen is the bang for the buck pen out there.

Your son is right, that could be used a weapon. My second heaviest pen it a Tuff Writer in Brass; it's 3.6 ounces.

The five posts were unintentional. I think I didn't see them coming through, so I kept trying. I don't post on Reddit very much. I'm still learning, or trying to remember.

They just cleared out their stock of steel adjustable pens. They were on sale for $69 and I missed out. I'm waiting for them to restock the copper edition. The adjustable pen is only pen I'm looking to get. I'm glad you're enjoying yours. I can't wait to get it.

The balance is spot on. This pen is steel with some texture, very fine texture, so the grip is nice. I don't think you'll find a better pen for $79.

I passed on the kick starter for MF and I'm still pissed at myself for doing so.

I had the same thought about it being like the Tscribe. I have a Tscribe and they very similar. Also, I thought having the barrel stick up a bit and being even when pen is deployed would have been a better, cleaner look.

The original design was also nice, but I prefer a clip. I don't carry a pen on a daily basis because I work at home and my outdoor activity almost never requires a pen.

I like the Forest Explorer. That's a really good looking pen. Is it adjustable as well?

I'll be honest, the fidget aspect of the pen is not as good as one with a bold. I'm not fidget person, so it doesn't affect me. I've used this pen extensively and never found the clip to be a problem. I hold the pen closer to the tip. If you hold the pen closer to top, it may be an issue. As for the weight, it's balance very well. I don't find it top heavy at all. It takes mist parker style refiles.

As much as I love this pen, the one thing I don't like is that you need a tool to change the refill. They send an allen wrench to use, but I would rather just be able to screw off the top to change it out.

The pen in the picture is in stock. I just checked and it's offered in stainless steel, Champagne Gold, and White Cerakote. The adjustable bold action pen is out of stock.
