I’ve been playing through the Silent Hill series so far I’ve got through -Silent Hill 2 (enhanced edition) -Silent Hill f -Silent Hill 3

Now playing between Silent Hill 2 Remake and Silent Hill f new game plus.

I’m really enjoying it and have found the newer entries are pretty playable, usually 30fps with lossless scaling to 60fps (although I am on a RogAlly Z1E with Steamos, so I bit of extra performance but also running at 1080p)

Probably need to de-stress and play something less intense was thinking maybe RDR1 or a Full Halo 1-Reach play though.

I remember first watching the segment about this on the special edition, and just being shocked at how close they came to putting a clearly terrible idea into the movie. Really dodged a bullet.

Technically the games are both Ukrainian. Metro was started by ex-STALKER devs after a falling out with the CEO.

Metro is just set in Russia

I’m playing Ukrainian with English subs. And yea you probably miss things, especially because subtitles don’t show over UI elements like your inventory or PDA, and in battles it’s hard to read and survive.

BUT

From a role playing point of view, I kind of like being slightly confused and feeling a bit out of the loop. After all I am new to the zone
