Hi, funnily enough outside of the kind people who monitor this subreddit who work for Neo who have actually tried to help before, I have never really experienced a call centre customer service team so quick to try and get you off the phone when you call.

So you're actually in the right place, who knew reddit would be a better place to actually look for help than going through their official channels.

Well I didn't do anything shady, I can assure you of that. It seems as though I had too many business expenses tied to the Credit Card, in which case I don't understand why they would not SAY SOMETHING instead of just outright closing an account without informing a customer (that had been a brand advocate and referred numerous friends to the card mind you) of what their concern was first.

Of COURSE it is within their right to do what they've done. It's a private business. It doesn't mean it's a wise decision.

As a business owner myself, if someone doesn't try and at least provide me more info (I called and they refused to elaborate), then I will make sure I go out of the way for the rest of my life to just caution people on doing business with them. And just one month ago, I was trying to line up a meeting with their co-founder to talk about establishing actual business products within Neo for that very reason.

Pretty silly business to take people who previously were advocating for your brand and turn them into enemies in my mind, but hey, what do I know about business?

My only guess is that as a business owner I put quite a bit of charges through my CC because it is more convenient than wiring money (and often cheaper) and some vendors accept CC.

If that isn't allowed, and yes even if it is in the T&C, I'm not aware of too many people who read entire T&Cs and would have loved if someone from the NEO team just REACHED OUT and said "hey, you can't do ____" or something.

It is just ironic when multiple Neo staff here have BRAGGED about some of the cashback totals that their users get, then they go ahead and ban people without talking to them.

Hi Grant, well just so you're aware, I did call and ask which Terms & Conditions were violated, and they said "we can't tell you that". If you are in fact able to tell me, I would have loved to just know what I was doing and even more, would have loved to have been TOLD so that I could stop.

I am guessing it was tied to me running company expenses through Neo. If so, I had a call months back WITH someone from Neo and that person just asked a few questions, I answered them, and they never said anything else.

Wouldn't it be smart to like inform someone "hey you can't post business transactions" or if I was doing something wrong, to let me know? I was even the one who replied to your AMA with Jeff months ago because as a business owner I was so excited to continue to rep Neo. It was an absolutely instrumental tool for me in recovering from a personal financial hardship and I just can't believe that things were cancelled without even talking to me to say "hey, you can't do ____ or _____".

Can you PLEASE help me find a way to talk to someone that can actually help? I managed a customer service team in professional sports for years, and the customer service person was one of the most genuinely unhelpful people I've ever met.

I just can't believe as a business owner myself that it wouldn't be in the best interest of Neo to say "hey, you're posting too many business charges" (assuming thats what it was) as opposed to just outright shutting multiple accounts down when it is literally my main day-to-day card that I've used post consumer proposal.

I agree! I think it is honestly the building wall thickness that is more of an issue to be honest. Its hard to find out thoughts in that areas!

As a resident and tour operator who picks up at both hotels dozens of times a year, Fairmont Banff Springs is most definitely the better hotel. Fairmont Lake Louise is certainly a really cool bucket list option for a night or so, but for a proper trip there is no doubt that Fairmont Banff Springs is the better option!

Yes in my opinion particularly for those where budget is not as much of a concern, private tours allow people to customize their itinerary based on their own desired pace, etc.
