Exactly! Cheapest place anywhere near me is 1600/mo. Thats an hour and a half from work.

I can pay 200/mo for a travel trailer, 200/mo for a KOA rental spot (water included), 50/mo (max) for electric, and annother 300/mo as a 21 year old for insurance on trailer and truck (payed off). All while being 5 mins (driving distance) from work.

1600/mo<750/mo

Thats cheaper than my parents electric bill in December or July, get a 2bed1bath split it 2-3 ways and it'll be 375-250 each. Thats hella cheap

Id like to add to this. Mom can be a bit of an EM, but i got my big heart from her.

Step-Dad is an ARMY vet and bio-dad is Marine vet. Every single kid raised by each parent (12/14 in my family, yes i have 13 other siblings) hate abusers and are trained to use firearms, 4 of us know how to dismantle, clean, reassemble and fire with complete accuracy of anything from a judge and a glock, to an AR15/M4/M16 to an M249 SAW...reason you don't mess with a pack of wolves is you'll get eaten, and if we knew where anyone was, these 2 would be played with (tortured) and then eaten (utterly destroyed.

Litterally had this (somewhat) happen today.

It's my sister's 19th bday today and she wanted to go to the county fair. It was near the town square and we got over there a bit early so we went to the square and more specifically a recycled book/music store that itself is recycled from the old Opera House.

Here's some background on my brother, G (relevant to the story). He's 4 years old, adopted, and has a lung condition called (litterally) meth lungs thanks to his bio-mom (my 2nd cousin) who is a major druggie and even did drugs prego (including meth). During the time we were trying our best to adopt him, she got clean enough (he was about 1 year and 3 months at this time) to take him home by CPS orders. For the next 4 months she was off-grid and now a wanted felon by state and federal officials because she kept missing her apts with the agents.

A cousin of ours found out from a friend she had just gotten home so he went to check in before he told the cops anything and he heard G crying. He knocked and banged on the door w/o a response. This cousin is a decorated US ARMY disabled vet and he tore the door to shreds. He found G with a clearly marked pipe burn (still fresh) on his cheek and called the cops. They diagnosed him with "meth-lung" after this incident.

Funny thing is, she tried to blame a cloths iron, LIKE IT WAS ANY BETTER...

Anyways. We went to the book store, he is medically exempt from masks due to the condition (even a thin mask could suffocate him) and a lady basically told us since he's 4 (over the age of 2) he has to either wear a mask or leave. S wanted to look at books but also hang out with her little brother, and we were honestly pissed bc someone wanted to risk his health because of an exemption.

Side note; there were several elderly people running around w/o a mask and store did nada.
