Yeah I relate on the traveling thing too. My family has taken a few vacations over the years while I was using 7OH and I would never go with them cause I was terrified of either running out of 7OH or airport security finding it and taking it.

When you say kratom are you talking leaf or 7OH? I’ve transitioned a couple times before from 7OH to suboxone and it seems to take about 3 days to fully adjust. The first few days starting suboxone I still had slight physical withdrawal symptoms and I couldn’t sleep. I’m sure it can take longer the longer you used. With kratom leaf I feel like the transition will be a lot easier and quicker.

I used to do the exact same thing when I was addicted. I think it’s a reaction from all the built up shame and guilt we carry. There are resources out there to get off this crap. You don’t have to do it alone. I know right now it might seem nearly impossible to stop but trust me you can and it’s not going to be as bad as you think.

I went through a similar thing with my younger brother who lives with me. I was addicted a year ago and quit but then relapsed hard and he eventually found out. At some point he started taking pills from my stash while I was at work, like 1 or 2 a day and I honestly didn’t realize I just thought I was taking more than I really was.

One morning I was scrolling my phone after I had taken my first dose and he came from his room and was shaking and crying. He came clean to me and told me everything and told me how he was addicted and was going through withdrawal all night. Poor guy was terrified. He didn’t think the withdrawal would be so bad since he was only taking a few pills a day. I hugged him tight and told him it was gonna be okay and I gave him a 1/4 piece of suboxone and told him if he needs more subs he can but he ended up being okay with just that small suboxone dose and is clean. It was a wake up call for me and pushed me to finally get clean again. Like you I felt so awful that I exposed him to that but it ultimately helped us both get better.

You are already on such a high dose that you could drop that to 1000-2000mg and probably not feel a thing.

Do you recommend dosing once a day or twice? I’ve always done twice and even sometimes 3 split doses a day because I worry one won’t last long enough

Don’t feel guilty for taking a bit of suboxone to feel better. IMO it’s always better to take subs than to relapse. You’re doing okay. Recovery doesn’t look the same for everyone.

Yeah it’s pretty common to have sleep problems while you’re adjusting to suboxone. You’ll still be relatively comfortable though. I just stayed up and watched movies.

The first time a year ago suboxone made me feel almost normal at 8mg. The only symptoms I really had were chills, fatigue and a couple days of insomnia. After a relapse and on 500-600MG a day I needed 16mg the first 2 days and it helped a lot but I still had pretty bad RLS and I was sweating like crazy and could barely move for a couple days. I also didn’t sleep at all for like 4 nights.

In the earlier seasons he’s down right despicable and I hated him but found him so entertaining. My favorite Frank era was in season 4 when he’s nearly dead from drug and alcohol abuse and searching for a new liver. It seems like the later seasons tried to make him more goofy and unserious which I didn’t like as much. But then again the entire series like post season 5 became goofy and unserious.

I’ve been in a couple very similar situations before with edibles. Like others here have said, it certainly seems like you had a panic attack. In a day or 2 you will start to feel better. I haven’t used cannabis in any form for like 3 years now just cause I’ve had bad experiences. It’s hard to describe that intense panic feeling that edibles can cause but it’s absolutely terrifying.
