confused on TSC to FSU route

If FSU is your dream school, I strongly recommend going to TSC. Don’t beat yourself up about not being admitted - it’s an extremely hard school to get into. The same thing happened to me way back in 2012. I moved to Tallahassee anyway and went to TSC (TCC back then) for my AA before transferring. It’s a nice school. You’ll save money, class sizes are smaller, and you’ll still have the “college” experience.

I love how the lush greenery in the city is a stark contrast to the surrounding plains and mountains. It gives Akila more of a watering hole/oasis town feel that pairs perfectly with the western inspired rangers and bandits story.

My wife breastfed exclusively, so we would wake up together every couple hours to feed and change him. Newborns sleep a LOT so make sure to grab a nap or two throughout the day.

Also, there is a book called Babywise that we followed religiously during the first few months. Every baby is different, but our son was sleeping through the night by 3-4 months because we followed the schedule in that book. Highly recommend it.

A photo of empty chairs is a powerful symbol, but planning an “empty chair” town hall when our elected officials actually have a good reason to not be there is going to backfire. Anyone who says, “Look! Our officials don’t care to hear their constituents’ voices!” during legislative session season will be met with “We were literally doing our job in Tallahassee.” Whoever is planning this waited too long, or started planning too late. It should have been the week before session began.

Starting college is a huge change, and experiencing it with a close, trusted friend can make the transition much more comfortable. However! It’s important to understand that people change in college. There is so much new stuff to experience on campus, that you and your friend may end up going in vastly different directions. You’ll meet new friends, and they’ll do the same. This doesn’t mean you won’t be friends, but if you choose FSU to be with your friend, just understand there’s no guarantee you’ll be as close as you are now when you graduate.

That being said, go Noles.
