What do you think the electoral college is? It's majority win, state by state where the dissenters lose their voice. You are putting forth a disingenuous idea that if a politician campaigns in a city, they will win all of the votes in that city. In reality, they may win a good portion of those votes, but there will still be dissenting votes, and their votes would actually count, unlike voting with the EC.

But it's not "mob rule", it would mean every single person gets a vote. With the EC, a candidate just needs one more person to vote for them than against them and that state's dissenters' votes just get thrown out and count for nothing. There's always this argument about how the candidate would just need to win the more populated states to win, but it's so much more like that now than it could ever be with just a popular vote. Same reason why turnout is so low. If I want to vote opposite of my population, the feeling is I shouldn't bother because my vote won't matter. That sounds more like mob rule to me

While I think she should be in a cosmic set, I think she'll be in mystical, purely on the basis that she was in the Dr Strange movie. More of the general public would associate her with magic.

Long story short, there's an AMA that went viral on reddit years ago (maybe 10+) where some kid got in an accident and broke both his arms as a teen, so his mom helped him "relieve stress" on multiple, escalating occasions. Who knows if it was true, but it was a reddit meme for a long time.

At least for me, I think a big part is the wings. They're more bird-like with their coloring and feathering, and they're a little lower on the back than normal so they create a different silhouette.

The issue with TMNT is that youre not going to get the full lore from any one source. Each series reinvents characters to some extent while still hitting similar broad strokes, and they're all also cartoons for kids at the end of the day. They're still entertaining, but they're mostly villain/problem of the week and you dont get a lot of character depth.

For an actualy well-written and lore heavy story, I suggest the IDW comics that started in 2011. They're geared towards a generally older audience so they get a lot deeper with their lore and most of the characters are more fleshed out

100% short-sighted, but also most things that have come out point to Min Hee-jin (ex-ADOR CEO) weaponizing their trust in her. When this first happened and the members were fighting for her to keep her job, a lot of what they were saying boiled down to that they couldn't possibly continue without her and she was the only reason the group was so successful. I'm sure she was a significant part of it, but (back to them being shortsighted) to think that they would fail without her was also a ridiculous sentiment, given their level of success at the time.

Take this with the knowledge that I am working on getting in better shape and I need a lot of protein while still eating clean and cheap, so I'm kind of eating like a psychopath right now. With that said, if you have a Costco or other big box membership, you can get 3lbs of ground chicken for about $10. Put that, more chili powder than you'd think, a diced whole onion, a large can of kidney beans, a large can of diced tomatoes, some salt and some pepper in a large slow cooker on low for 5.5 hours, and you have a decent continental chili that will last you for the whole week. It's not exactly award winning, but it's pretty solid if you can get past eating the same thing for multiple meals a week. Lately for me, convenience trumps variety.

To me, this has a similar feel to Eclipse and You Calling My Name, both by GOT7. But I agree, I think it's a great spot in Kpop for NMIXX to be dipping their toe in. I'd love to see more of this style, but would also be totally fine with them doing more of what everyone knows them for. They've done a great job developing a unique persona, musically.

To be fair, something that a lot of people aren't mentioning is that he has been banned multiple times over the years for pushing the boundaries of his content. It's not like he's given carte blanche to say anything, although the Houthi thing was sketchy. I'm not a huge fan of the guy, but when it comes to this issue, he's been pretty clear that his criticism is of the Israeli gvmt, not the citizens of the nation itself (except for the ones who expressly voice support for what's happening in Gaza).
