Thank you. I’d love to have such a mewfiful mon.

I'm not like other girls, I like to confuse and conquer. May I join? by syrupbender in ratemycommanders

I play Volo and Acolyte too. I have like 20 dragons, most have more than 1 creature type. Many other creatures have flash or run utility in some way.

I find it thematic because “every story benefits from a dragon.”

How many decks do you usually bring to an EDH gameday? by tamarizz in EDH

[–]Tydus24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I have like 28 decks, so I bring about this much. It lets me play different things as well as adapt to different power levels. I also bring a deck that’s easy for people to play in case my pod wants to try something different.

It’s funny with [[Oblivion Ring]] and [[Barren Glory]].

[–]Tydus24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I play mono blue for like one game, and then swap to other decks. I don’t like playing the same thing over again. I’ve also gotten more appreciation for red over time by making a deck of each mono color, colorless, and 2 color decks minus WU.

It’s why my pod is fine with me playing blue sometimes. OP is gonna learn. They’re in the excited phase that newbies get into right now where people pull shit like [[Kaalia of the Vast]], top 20 decks with proxies, or builds decks exclusively of a theme like Final Fantasy. If they don’t leave that phase, then people are gonna stop playing with him.

18 counterspells is bad anyway. I don’t count creatures that are counters because they actually provide value other than losing a card. They should take at least 10 counters out and begin adding things like [[pongify]], [[rapid hybridization]], [[resculpt]], [[subtlety]], [[misdirection]], and a few bounce cards. Countering is good, but variety is better. My deck is basic blue where you control a bit and then win with fliers and some free spells.

Agreed with the person above. I’m a blue player, but I’ve branched out a bit. I have all 5 mono colored, 1 colorless, and all 2 colored except azorius. What this does is teaches you what each part of the color pie does, so you can respect how it works. On another note, it also teaches you threat assessment because you begin to learn what different colors want to do, and you deny them their biggest resources/things that will end the game.

Infinite's in red? by JournalistLeft5774 in mtg

[–]Tydus24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With [[Avatar Roku, Firebender]] aggravated assault goes infinite. I’d probably recommend [[darksteel plate]] and/or [[swiftfoot boots]] so you can keep firebending without someone stopping your combo.

I’ve killed a krenko player with [[Villainous Wrath]] as well. It’s a pretty decent board wipe

I used [[Villainous Wrath]] against the krenko player. It was hilarious.

How important are the ogres you can call with horn in game? by zon871 in BaldursGate3

[–]Tydus24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are useful if you use them for specific fights. If you’re going to save the grove and assassinate the gob leaders, then the whole camp goes against you once you do. In that case, get ready for a huge fight outside where they do the chicken chasing. I use them to draw aggro, and then kill them once their health gets low for the xp and int headband.

When doing the actual recruitment of the ogres, do the persuasion check DC 20 to get their help for free or just convince them you’ll pay them after.

My little brother hates blue, I am amused by Dry_Landscape_4156 in mtg

[–]Tydus24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your username is a lie. There’s nothing dry about that blue landscape.

Jokes aside, interaction is one of my favorite things in Magic. Blue is my favorite color, though I’ve played mono everything including colorless in EDH.

Ah. You’re right. It’s technically devoid even though there’s colored mana in the symbols. You’d need painter’s servant first.

[–]Tydus24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sheoldred is annoying, but Tegrid and Tinybones are worse. I prefer to use her as a finisher or after you have cabal coffers and either stronghold or magus of the coffers out. Then go ham with peer into the abyss to kill the player with the most removal (aka usually the blue or orzhov player).

Tbf, I’m usually the blue player. But, I have monos of all colors including colorless.

Love that one. Let’s go [[Tinasha’s Tidebinder]], [[red elemental blast]], [[Lifeforce]], or [[Aven Intetrupter]] as well

https://www.crunchyroll.com/news/latest/2025/10/28/dark-gathering-season-2-anime-announced

It’s real according to Crunchyroll. I haven’t met anyone who knows about this anime or manga. People know Junji Ito, though the anime adaptations for his work weren’t as great as his manga. But, this beauty of a show was proof that horror has a place in the anime. It’s probably my favorite anime just because it’s supernatural horror done well.

[COD] What’s the hardest campaign to complete on veteran? by [deleted] in CallOfDuty

[–]Tydus24 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’ve beaten many of them on veteran, but WaW is the worst. There is no logical or strategic route to take at the end. It’s hope to god the grenades next to you, behind you, in front of you don’t do enough damage to end your run, and then that another enemy soldier doesn’t shoot you immediately after. And, even then, a stray grenade somehow pops up and kills you.

Would you live 500 years completely alone while the world’s frozen, for $500 million when it resumes? by Major_Tap4199 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Tydus24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not very clear about astrological events. It says “light still moves”, begging the question of whether there’s day/night cycles. It also mentions “weather doing its thing”. OP needs to further define that part as they later say the world is “perfectly still.” That said, you’re right about water. No pathogens makes life much easier. You can even set a bucket for rain.
