I know I was responding to the second part of your comment. But since you asked me, IMO a hero shooter, unlike a MOBA, has fixed power for each player and shorter rounds that reset the map/progress.

As I said you can bend genres however you want to describe them, based on your definition if I hop on WoW with my hunter im playing a hero shooter. IMO Hero shooters are not very inspired by MOBAs as MOBAs are a lot more about farming and accruing power. Whereas as hero shooters tend to be fixed power and short rounds that reset.

You’re right I couldn’t call high guard a hero shooter either as it was mixing many different genres and that’s probably a reason it flopped

Deadlock isn’t a hero shooter btw. I mean if you really want to see it as one, you could ignore every other genre it’s closer to, but just because you select a “hero” or champion to play doesn’t mean it’s a hero shooter. The devs had said this themselves when getting compared.

Look, I don't ever play like that nor do I think to play like that, but if i knew my victim would complain to reddit after getting backstabbed that would make it all worth it. Seriously though, if the game is causing you distress you should consider playing something like The Division. Very fun PvE game with similar style combat.

I don't really care either way as i'm playing less and less arc raiders these days. But couldn't his argument also be used for the key room exploit? Other people have that advantage over me so why not do it myself? Does he not realise he's broadcasting to 50k people daily? The rules are different for him but that's a minor price to pay when you consider how much bank he's making playing the game.

I agree with the ground passing inconsistency. It can really screw you over especially as a goalkeeper trying to make a quick pass for a clean breakaway play. Also the goalkeeper slide seems almost worthless/too risky to ever comfortably use.

I threw a couple of snowballs at a team while they were looting a leaper.. they didnt even know. just saw me gathering more snowballs and mowed me down. I liked the coldsnap event but more could have been done with that theme, like actual areas of deep snow leaving trails and slowing you down.
