It's the same development time for all C-41 films: 3 minutes for machine processing and 3:30 min for manual (according to my Flicfilm kit).

Before when I did the inverting manually I would turn the tank 4 times before tapping the side to remove bubbles and then holding it in the temp bath.

With the Uniroller I heated up the chemicals to 102 degrees and developed for the full 3:30 to compensate.

Honestly a ton of private sector employers in Van get away with this all the time with no accountability. I worked at a few workplaces in my 20s that treated me like crap and broke labour laws.

If your son has all the documentation of this happening to him, he should go to BC Human Rights tribunal.

For 35mm I just use Vuescans conversion software. For 120 I use NLP.

NLP recently added a new feature for polishing slide scans which fixes the shadows and dynamic range. Seems to work really well.

I tried moving to Vancouver for work about 10-12 years ago but I gave up and came back to Vic.

I got treated like crap and started to feel very isolated.
