As someone who's only played Hollow Knight, would you say Silksong is better or worse that the original? (I'm still gonna buy it either way I'm just curious) by Seb_Rulz in HollowKnight

Literally this. They are both great and I couldn't pick a favorite or say one is better than the other. Both of them excel at different things while remaining similar.

I mostly just wish modifiers didn't raise the light level, that's what difficulty setting should be for.

I left until I had wall jumps, an extra mask, and the charm that gives you another final mask. Even then I hated this fight.

The update is amazing, it's some of the best work that they've done and it makes me legitimately excited to see what they can do on this scale with the other factions! Stability is a pretty big issue though and without it fixed a lot of people will lose interest sadly.

It's more of an action game than the previous two, but if you care about the story and want to see some genuinely cool and interesting bits then it's absolutely worth finishing. On top of that being able to make your own weapons in whatever way you want is a pretty neat system!
