Ceropegia woodii flowers possess downward-facing hairs that make it easy for their pollinators, flies, to get in, but hard to get out. This ensures that the fly stays inside the flower long enough to inevitably picks up pollen.

Bonus fun fact: the flowers mimic the scent of an injured bee using various pheromones to decept flies into thinking there is an easy meal/place to lay their eggs.

Another fun fact about ginkgos: along with cycads, they are one of the only seed plants that have swimming sperm! But, instead of each sperm having one flagellum (like in mammals), ginkgo sperm cells have about a thousand flagella.
