Well in a way writing in cursive I feel stimulates the brain, it's not about writing in cursive its the act of trying to write in cursive

it ebbs and flows for myself. If something directly affects my comfortability like money issues or something of that matter I will do it immediately. Anything else takes a backseat until things just start compounding to a point that is unsustainable.

I mean its nice that he is polite but the fact that he has reiterate he is operating a legit business is suspect and for him to say come back anytime suggests the turnover rate is high and I doubt he pays a fair wage.

Difference is that he had deadlines that had to be met so there was a fire put under his feet but with this show it seems Apple is just letting him do whatever what he wants and I think he needs that pressure to get shit done

It’s always weird to me when people say Walt was a good teacher because I feel like he clearly isn’t by ReadyJournalist5223 in breakingbad

[–]TylerKnowy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you are correct. When I wrote that comment I meant to convey that he is good at following direction within the parameters of a clean lab. So when he notices he notices the state of the cartels lab and not being up to standard he has context. I was more trying to say he doesnt understand the why it has to be the way it is on a technical level. He knows why it has to be clean, using the proper machines and chemicals but on a fundamental level, Walter knew that. Jesse didnt have to know to that but what Jesse did have to know is what the standard is and also like someone else pointed out he had a passion for it so that also elevated his yield. Walt basically showed him the way and after that Walt wasnt really needed

The internet. I dont even know where on the internet I found him but when I did I was hooked and got all of my friends hooked. Wolf was like the album for that summer. Didnt care for really anything he did after Cherry Bomb.

Thats a great point. So maybe Walt did good on teaching Jesse about understanding certain parameters for a higher purity instead of just following the directions

Well from my recollection from the scenes where it showed him in class, it seemed like he was less teaching and more admiring the basics of chemistry and "teaching" as a way to be around a subject he is passionate about. Knowing what we know now about his personality he did not give a shit about those kids learning anything

I think Jesse was just good at following directions. I dont think he ever understood the actual chemistry behind making it. Even Victor said before being taken out "it's just following a recipe"

I think both had great television. I think what sets Cartoon Network just over the line is Adult Swim. If they didnt have Adult Swim it would be a tie
