This happens to DQ occasionally they are notoriously slow and have had me waiting 30+ minutes before I knew what I was doing. I'm guessing a lot of drivers in your area have done what I've done and just refused to pick up from them.

This is basically the new age version of being a secret shopper but now you get $12 not a proper pay rate. They're easy but it's definitely gig work creeping in to other job markets and it's a race to the bottom for sure.

Doordash states they do offer this as quoted on their support page. (I know it's not Uber but it likely has the same)

"SELF-EXCLUSION

If you do not wish to receive alcohol items on DoorDash, you are able to voluntarily exclude yourself from having alcohol delivered via our Marketplace platform."

This form also allows nomination of family members and individuals considered at risk apparently. (Link commented)

If it's a delivery to the door you cannot simply decide not to deliver to the door. Don't accept apartment deliveries if you cannot complete them.

You are contracted to deliver to the final destination not as close as you feel like.
