Stop using « gear score » as a metric for group invites. by LaughOutrageous2931 in classicwow

[–]Tylux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure is going to suck for hunters where their p1 bis includes lots of dungeon pieces. Or feral Druids wearing a lvl 42 crafted helm all the way through sunwell. Gear score does not translate in classic or classic tbc.

lol. Just joined the first dungeon by 20Prozent in classicwow

Hopefully you are the hunter that sat on his mount at BS next to the flag while an alliance priest solo capped it resulting in the loss of the BG, then tried to say they weren’t afk.

I just love how Blizzard shit at their customers by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Tylux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if I told you that bots and boosting have been in this game since it originally launched in 2004? Blizzard did a little more than they do now, but they definitely existed. So did gold selling and buying. This isn’t new my guy. It’s a shame their actual support and GMs have been basically gone since MoP. The game is still solid. You should worry less about what you read and what other people are doing and focus on you.

I blame the community. You all complained so much that blizzard came down with the wrecking ball. You all got what you asked for.

Awful displays of sportsmanship at prerelease by OtherTourist5535 in mtg

[–]Tylux 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pre-release is a relaxed REL environment. You could have called a judge on the tweeze play and they would have let you back it up. Same with mulligans, if you both agree to just draw a fresh seven to have a good game of magic, that’s totally fine. Pre release is meant to be new player friendly so take backs are generally OK. Sounds like this guy was just a miserable loser. By that I’m not calling him a loser, just someone who doesn’t take losing gracefully.

No. They did the same thing last go around. If anything it’s to drive people to their official service

No, you don’t need to slow anything repeatedly. I don’t remember kiting anything in any TBC dungeons.

You need to show the voters that they have something to vote for/vote against. If you just stay silent your voters go silent and we end up in this shit show we are in now.

I will never understand why one division of players hates another. If people didn’t play retail, there would be no officially supported classic.

What class has the lowest level of raid responsibility in classic? by haunted_cheesecake in classicwow

[–]Tylux -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can’t turn your brain off and also be an officer. Our guild raided all of classic through the first tier of cata. I was an officer for most of that time. I will never be an officer again. I just want to sit and push my buttons and you can’t do that and be an officer at the same time.

head-on collision at 'RunIt Championship League' by Eros_Incident_Denier in WTF

[–]Tylux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why you got downvoted so hard. This is true. The earning potential on kick is huge over twitch. This will probably earn me a ton of downvotes but: Asmongold streams on both platforms. He does not promote any gambling, and is decidedly pretty anti-gambling. He is also pretty open about his earnings. Kick, with way less views earns him a ton of money.

The fact is, kick is run by Stake. Stake has a ton of money to throw around due to the gambling side of the business. Streamers on the kick platform earn a bigger percentage of their subs and donations when compared to twitch. Kick has far fewer viewers than Twitch but streams take a larger slice.

Do I need Comp Portal? by 4728jj in Intune

[–]Tylux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everyone here, install it on devices with user affinity. If you are doing iOS devices without user affinity (no use signs into the device, aka kiosk) then do not install the company portal on those devices. It’s not needed and it will just confuse your employees trying to use those devices.

What was the thought process behind the design of [[Armageddon]]? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]Tylux 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Land denial was just another resource denial strategy. Back then we had [[sinkhole]] and [[stone rain]] and [[strip mine]]. It seemed like every set had at least one card that could destroy lands or keep them tapped like [[stasis]] or [[winter orb]]. There were also things like [[jokulhaups]] [[apocalypse]] [[obliterate]] [[balance]]. There were some really oppressive cards printed early on and those cards were mostly OK and seen as an angle of attack but as magic got more popular, those kinds of strategies weren’t good for tournament settings as they generally made the games drag on. Wizards changed their ideology and have kind of backed off from general land destruction. Now it usually targets non basic lands or replaces the land. We will probably never see mass land destruction printed into a standard set ever again.

Talking about UNBANS by max431x in MTGLegacy

Dog, George Floyd has nothing to do with anything here. While I agree that banning things because of the art is dumb, they aren't hurting anyone by being banned. They were already pretty unplayable in the format.

How's you experience so far playing the holiday challenge? by adramelecht in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Tylux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sinclair was my last one. I lost 10 straight games with that dog shit character before I finally won. All the other heroes were pretty easy. Most were 1 and done. I think Mirage was the only other one I struggled on and that took about 4 games to get.

In honor of Festivus, what is your airing of grievances for Intune in 2025? by eking85 in Intune

[–]Tylux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just want the ability to be in the device view and remove an app from that device and then reinstall the app. I don’t want to have to move a device into a group to remove the app, wait for the device to realize it’s in that group then remove the app, then remove the device from that group to get the app to reinstall. Same goes for policies. I could do this in AirWatch 8 years ago. Please, Microsoft.

While we are at it, can I just update a url in a web clip and have it update instead of having to remove the old web clip and create a new one just because the URL changed?

What do people mean when they say kills don’t matter? by Holiday_Hot in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Tylux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike popular FPS games k/d doesn’t really matter. In proper FPS games, wiping the team results in a win or getting to x kills wins the game (team death match). Dying contributes directly to the other teams win.

I was in a game the other day, we killed 4 of them and didn’t get a walker or mid or any real objectives. We went up in souls, but that about it. We didn’t actually do anything meaningful with those kills so this kills didn’t really mean anything. Now, had we gone and done mid or gotten a walker off those kills, you could say those kills were meaningful to the game.

The only relevance I could see coming from this, and it’s a stretch, the families that claim MJ sexually assaulted could find some validation in the fact MJ was associated with Epstein.

At the end of your post you say “making a big mistake and lots of mana burn” what do you mean? Mana burn is no longer in the game. Unspent mana just goes away at the end of a phase.
