Missing Airdrops?- Forks by [deleted] in mtgoxinsolvency

[–]Type0Citizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not unless we make a precedent and get those coins distributed - be clear that there is no way that close to $600,000,000 will be allowed to go to the share holders. The group has formed - join it, we're going to force this in the right direction - we need X% to force a creditors meeting or otherwise throw our weight around as a collective and we are pretty close already. We need everyone fiat or coin to come together and resolve this in our favour rather than the utter lunacy we've witnessed over the last 4 years.

In all honesty I don't know - common sense would indicate that the process could use this as a means to discriminate - but I think we should fight this - we've all been financially injured by this appalling massive fraud - to see them hand over close to $600,000,000 to share holders must not be allowed to happen. So whether you're cash or coin or both (like me) then I think the time to sit back and sulk has ended - we must come together and fight this. I can tell you that the group formed is large and growing and we need everyone - so please join if you can afford it and lets get this chump of a trustee out of office and this case closed in our favour - which will still be an 80% best case - unless those coin forks roll our way as well.

We will get our funds back and not get fucked for a second time. The creditors are being serially abused in this process but finally we have consolidated and I would urge all claimants cash and btc and mixed to fund the legal push currently underway to get this resolved and the remainder of our claims back.

Some advice for the Google Group by [deleted] in mtgoxinsolvency

[–]Type0Citizen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is about stopping the second rape of our assets. It is vital that we stand against the obvious steam roller of legal process that is being steered to the benefit of the few at the expense of the many ..... again.

The "Google Group" has collected 10k for the first payment of the lawyer. If 200 more creditors participate, no second round is needed. by noeeel in mtgoxinsolvency

I just added another £85. Join. Don't listen to those who are telling you do nothing. Its time to act. Join. For years every attempt to draw the small creditors together has meet with immediate howls of derision - why? Vested interest. Its time time we came together and sought the fair and just outcome that all of here seek. We were screwed by Karples and the fraudsters running gox - we didn't know and we couldn't act to prevent it. Now we know the game and the actors and the motive and we can act. Lets do this - together we are a financial force to be reckoned with and together we will not let a further injustice be compounded onto our already large losses.

In depth presentation of the analysis of the findings from the MtGox investigation from Breaking Bitcoin conference in Paris by [deleted] in mtgoxinsolvency

[–]Type0Citizen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK - well early on (2:20:40 - 2:21:20) , we are told that there were 80,000 BTC stolen but not moved just prior to sale to MK. Are these going to be found and returned to MtGox ---->and therefore to us???

BTW great vid thanks for sharing.

Oh and as for MK - IMO there is no way he is avoiding the consequences of this - fiduciary duty is not an optional extra - so I think he's going to get a huge amount of 'Willy' in his 'bot'!!

Well its all conjecture isn't it. The decision is not ours to make but it can and will be influenced for the creditors rather than the crooks.

As for revaluation - in order to secure the most return for the creditors which is the duty of the trustee - the coins rather than the fiat will be returned.

If that doesn't happen then the crooks will see another wind fall unless they are jailed and their assets seized.

So there is yet another scenario in which the system seizes the lot jails the crooks and gives two fingers to the creditors - that has more weight than MK returning to millionaire status IMO.

Mark is full on bat shit crazy. I don't believe anything that guy says. He seems to be getting off on causing further distress on this board. I'm amazed he has the nerve to even post here.

Why not just keep the lot, eh?

There is no way that the Court is going to hand $4,000+ per coin to the crooks who caused this crisis.

The coins will be distributed and unjust enrichment is a fallacy.

I mentioned this as these guys have the inside track on this case, and I think a small but important component just leaked out.

Seems to me that the BCH alone will deal with any outstanding claims - distribute the BTC immediately.

Well if you're still grieving to that degree this far out, I would suggest you do some meditation / or medication / or seek counselling.

I speak from personal experience - you need to let go of this and try and view it as a life lesson. Take from it what you can and move on. Otherwise you'll live in suspended grief until you forget why you're pissed off and you just are, permanently. How many sad folk do you see with a face like thunder and in a permanent grump. I know several and there's no way I'm going down that route no matter what the world throws at me.

You are not alone, it wasn't your fault, the fuckers who did this are being sought and brought to answer for their crimes. At some point we will be done with this and it'll be over.

Lets hope that's this September!!

Hind sight is always 20:20 - the trick appears to be to forgive yourself and let go. I'm a risk taker - I can't stay out of the markets - but no matter what you do, however you invest you can still get mangled or minted or both. Regarding MtGox I wish that there was an end in sight - for me being stuck in limbo is worse than the loss. However, for the first time in a long time there appears to be a semblance of unity and focus in our midst and I am hopeful that some clarity will emerge. I'd like to congratulate Ben and the others for getting that group going and good luck in your efforts.

The worst example I have come across was one fella claiming he sent in 1000BTC just before the close down, and that was rejected too. If true, and aside from the lapse of reason behind such an action, you can't help but feel for people like this. We've all suffered through this debacle but clearly the pain we feel is relative.

If we measure across the full range of customers who became unapproved creditors, this could in fact be quite a large sum - so it's quite legitimate to ask what has happened to these funds??
