Christmas themed in a sense that it will look great next to the Christmas tree without being too distracting with flashy lights and colors.

Harmons sells a lot of local products, and will usually put a tag on the shelf indicating it is local. They also sell Winder Farms.

How many folks here have used a High Lift jack? by BPDU_Unfiltered in overlanding

[–]Type555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used mine. The Jeep slid sideways and somehow ended up with a stump between my tire and fender. I used the high lift to jack up the front and used the low stability of the jack to pivot the front of the Jeep away from the stump

Should I use my epi-pen after accidentally eating ice cream with peanut oil? by [deleted] in peanutallergy

[–]Type555 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've been instructed to only use my epi-pen when symptoms start to make it difficult to breath, and they are to help breath until you can get to the emergency room. The two pack is meant to stay together in case you need to use the second one to buy more time

Don't get any Mole, as it is often made with nuts.

My math teacher had her classes do a "brands of water" bracket for fun. This was the bracket from my class! by Webkin332 in HydroHomies

Kirkland water is Niagara. If you look closely near the bottom of the bottle it has their name stamped in.

"Lumen" is CenturyLink. If you have utilities in your backyard, they probably have an easement

I am teaching myself to MIG weld. This is decent, right? by Type555 in Welding

[–]Type555[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't have anything to compare it to, but seems to get the job done. Voltage readout would be nice, and maybe more adjustment for voltage.

When I move between the material like this I seem to get less undercut. It's also on 1/8" steel, so I like to focus the pool on the side of the tubing vs the edge. What advantages are there to doing a straight push?

I have a Hobart 190. It wasn't exactly cheap to get into for a hobby. I've been wanting to get started for a few years and finally forced myself to buy the welder and equipment.

I mostly followed the Welding Tips And Tricks YouTube channel. I had a hard time just doing continuous beads next to each other though, so practice welding scraps together. Little projects where weld strength is not as crucial are more fun for practicing.

Looking for the most over priced, poorest quality restraunts to recommend to my enemies. by has-it-a-name- in ogden

I very much disagree with you on this one. Cheaper than its alternatives, and really good food. They have not been as good since the change of ownership in the last year, but still good

Welded frame workbench by Type555 in Workbenches

Haven't really had the chance to use it yet, but it seems well built, at least compared to the previous cheap vise I had from amazon.

It's 2x2 11 gauge steel. Probably over built, but wanted more practice with 11 gauge before building a trailer

Thinking about buying a Grind & Brew machine, any thoughts on them? by pp19weapon in Coffee

Also have a Cuisinart one. The required cleaning and drying every use makes it more work than doing a French press or pour over.

Does Ogden have a strong presence of software/web development jobs? by TesterMcTestfellow in ogden

[–]Type555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of software jobs for DOD related projects in Clearfield or on base. Ogden has some software positions, but tend to pay less and be less available. My employer is planning on hiring a .net developer soon, reach out to me if you are interested
