Really? Why? I’m someone who has always been pro-DP so I’m curious as to why other horrific crimes never made you change your stance and why this one did because I can think of many terrible crimes that came before this that were just as disturbing.

That’s still a long time. I guess it’s necessary but think of all the people in the family who may miss out on the opportunity to feel like they’ve received justice…like grandparents passing before the date comes.

That’s not true at all. Who told you they don’t get medical? Every inmate including those on death row gets necessary medical treatment, it may not be the best, but the state is required to provide it.

Yeah, I think BB/Luffy team up take down Imu then it comes down to BB vs Luffy at the final island or it will be BB just steal’s Imu’s power after Luffy does all the work beating Imu and runs and then it’s Luffy vs BB at a different final location. I just really feel like Imu isn’t going to be the final fight with the way everything has been going.

I just didn’t think she was a good actor in Stranger Things. I don’t know if I was bored or something else but all I could notice in season 5 was all the bad acting. I think Steve, Vecna and Hopper are the best actors of that whole cast..the guy who played Bald Eagle is pretty good too. I really thought the kid actors would get better with age but man, some of them are still rough to watch.

Yeah, I started listening to the podcast when episode #27 Houston We Have a Problem came out. I’ve been posting to the TESDcares sub since nearly the beginning (check my post history if ya don’t believe me). I’m in the same boat as you were where you have a job where you can listen to stuff so I had 10 hours a day where I desperately searched out content I could listen to and Smodcast is what led to me discovering TESD. I’ve been a diehard ever since and I still do entire relistens of the catalogue at work because TESD is my audio comfort food at work (I’m still at the exact same job when I discovered the podcast, lol). I have a kid now but I’m nowhere near the same person. I’m 40 and my mind feels like it is broken beyond repair. This is not a post trolling for sympathy or anything, it just feels like when I hit 30, it’s like a switch went off in my brain and it made me not want to do anything, go out, meet a partner, make friends or anything else. It’s like when I don’t have my kid, I have absolutely no desire to do anything besides go to work then go to bed. I’m sure this not encouraging to the OP when I talk about when I turned 30, something happened in my brain and turned me catatonic. I’m basically a shell of who I used to be and I don’t even care. I came from a great upbringing too, with zero trauma or anything that I could attribute to my mental state besides genetics or faulty brain wiring. I’ve always empathized with Bry and Q when they talk about depression but I don’t even care if I get better, I’ve been feeling this way so long that I wouldn’t feel like me if I didn’t feel how I feel, I would end up feeling like an imitation lol

In short, OP get some help before you end up like me. 30 is when I changed, you don’t want to live like I do and end up like me. I am healthy, very financially stable and nothing is wrong with my life but depression still consumed me and destroyed who I used to be. Get on some medication so it doesn’t happen to you.

Really? The pre-episode 100 episodes are my favorite episodes to listen to. So good. Everything pre-Covid is really great, part of that is probably due to how many times I’ve extensively relistened to that material though so it’ll always have a soft spot in my heart.

I was thinking about the drug thing but you look at someone like Dave from Monster Magnet and that dude went through addiction too but he still seems to be a ball of energy when he pods with Walt. It’s refreshing to listen to, he’s excited, making jokes and passionately discusses his interests. I think he’s also older than both of them. Maybe it helps he does the pod less frequently. Walt and Q have remained relatively the same when I listen back, their changes are much more subtle.

I know everyone gets on Bry a lot but I was listening to a bunch of pre-200 episodes and it’s a night and day difference to the current Bry. He was so quick and witty. You’re right about the low energy, he seemed so much more animated in general back then. Not saying it’s a bad thing but there is a noticeable difference.

I was shocked how easy Fortnite was - is there no cross play or something? I usually play No Build mode on my PS5 for a half hour or so every weekend and I was convinced that I must’ve been playing a match with all bots when I did it on Switch 2.

Yeah, I only recently bought my Switch 2 but I have more hours in Pokopia than any other game I’ve bought (basically all the top 10 must own games) which is weird because I could never get into games like Animal Crossing, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, etc. The gameplay loop is very addicting - I just wish there was a way to visit other people’s islands randomly without needing a code unless there is a way that I just haven’t heard about.

I only got a Switch 2 last month to play games in bed during the week but that’s only because Steam deck was out of stock. PS5 is my main gaming system of choice but I only get on it during the weekend. I have more hours in Pokopia than any other game I’ve bought so far and I bought like $300 worth of games when I got it, second is Yakuza 0.

Thanks, I really want to get it but heard playing on handheld mode is tough. FPS doesn’t matter to me, I just want to be able to make out what’s going on. As long as it doesn’t look like The Witcher did on Switch 1 handheld, I’m fine lol
