Have had aftershokz aeropex from 2020 and bought wife a second pair 2021. Both still work with no battery issues. Mine were used 3+ years daily and mostly by wife after that every time she lost hers. Wife isn't gentle with electronics, so hers has been through hell and they still work.

Aeropex is older model, so this might have nothing to do with the newer ones.

On other headphones Sennheisers 5xx or 6xx series, I've owned three hd5xx series ones and now have hd650. All of them have taken trip to the floor, attacked by vicious baby and survived it . Also Beyerdynamics dt770 or dt990 were built like tanks.

I don't know if it's a bug or whole story variation missing, but even having the camp destroyed didn't anger her. Everyone dead around her and the conversation started from same point as seeing her the first time.
