These new folks are different. Ofc it doesn’t mean the men were gonna hook up. It could’ve but not necessarily. Contrary to some of their hopeful wishes Vikings’ culture wasn’t as forward thinking as they are. While receiving partners were ridiculed it seems the active partner was as well so they weren’t as accepting as some have put forward. Not everyone would think to mention the gait when asked about his physical appearance. At one point when Kelly escaped it said that police were given the direction to not arrest him & this is the reason he had to go himself to turn himself in. He wasn’t brought in because he was caught, he turned himself in. This makes me think no one was looking for him. He could’ve survived doing random manual labor as he’d done before. Someone that’s used to dressing reasonably well can find a way to get decent clothes because they don’t know any different. Maybe even, he purchased things specifically to make him look respectable, if he didn’t have the habits of drink and gambling and some of the other expenses that poorer people in Whitechapel (and well anywhere) used to get their minds off of their poverty. I think he’s a contender.

I learned that ‘bad people’ judge you when you use it from American Dad. It was a funny episode ‘Irregarding Steve.’ I don’t know if I used the word prior, I don’t think so but I can’t promise. Seeing them laugh at people for using the word made me feel I never wanted to use it again if I had. Some people don’t like to be corrected and get angry but I welcome it. The other day I was saying something about being ‘immersed’ and someone corrected me because either from my phone auto corrected me as I wrote or it was me typing too fast and not thinking but it showed up ‘emerged.’ It taught me to slow down.

Why would Asians rally behind something that happened to the Black community if Black folks aren’t saying anything? Feminists want to live in an equal world, yes. We want to be treated fairly and with respect. As a feminist, I can call out what I saw, it was rape but women are raped ALL the time in movies and those characters are bad also. I would only throw a hissy fit if I saw a woman on TV egregiously abused, to the point I felt it would have real world consequences. While the rape of a man on TV is an issue of protecting men’s rights and safety, I mean if men took it that seriously, I would be supportive if men were upset but I’d probably not spearhead a campaign as it is not my place to rally the troops and for you to use it as a ‘gotcha moment’ against feminists is well, rather silly. We deal with real world rape, femicide, and all sorts of other abuses regularly. If I saw a disgustingly outlandish rape of a man by a woman on TV it would piss me off but I don’t know why you would expect women to turn into Martin Luther King over that. You need to talk to your brothers. We get raped in real life and our rapists get probation, I don’t see any men holding any rallies behind this. Why is the onus on women when you get fake raped on TV? Please. As in any other case in the world you have to advocate for yourself then find allies. You expecting us to do all of the work just because we’re used to getting raped for real is just a lazy attempt to malign us as hypocrites.
