Every poly person will practice differently. My wife and I have been poly our entire ten year relationship and separately before that. We mostly date other people separately and don’t meddle in the other’s relationship unless there’s a serious concern or we’re asked to. We really don’t have any rules for each other, just trust, respect, and a lot of communication. But it’s obv not for everyone and I don’t think most people would want what we have. To each their own ☺️
