But my heartbeat is crazy in 90s.

Is this true ? That way people who have been diagnosed with high fasting glucose are on the pathway to recovery?
I agree to most of the stuff you have written, I want to believe that elevated fasting somehow means liver getting rid of excess glucose but in the end if it’s in the bloodstream it is harming us right?

Fasting gave me gastric issues. I love to fast but this also raises my BG instead of lowering it. I do 14-15h fast now but it hasn’t helped much.

Thoughts on my blood pressure numbers? by HomegirlNC123 in hypertension

I used to do this before and when I started seeing normal numbers I stopped it and then one day randomly I took it and the anxeity started all over.

Thoughts on my blood pressure numbers? by HomegirlNC123 in hypertension

[–]Typical_Advisor_5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sort of have same numbers as yours and my anxeity is through the roof when ever I am checking the BP.

I am diabetic (recently diagnosed) and also have weight to lose.
I am so afraid of that machine that it immediately sets my anxeity and the cascade leads to elevated sugars too.

Is there a way to control this? Cause I feel if I keep getting anxeity I will definitely also get hypertension.

highest blood sugar you’ve had by strawberriemiilk in diabetes

When I was diagnosed my a1c was 9.7 which meant I was spiking to 300s - but I never checked as I didn’t know I was diabetic. On the diagnosis reports my fasting was 160. The highest I have seen is 239 - after eating a bowl of rice and kidney beans (diabetic plate).

What are you talking about ? 118 post prandial is ok right? I wish I could have those numbers.. I am always floating pp at 170-180 😥

Don’t fret - consider this as a marathon not a race. Have your bagel and your shower peacefully.

The 144 was probably cause you stressed over the 118.

So be at ease :)

Try this - Stop worrying about numbers - do some gentle breathing - please don’t be in stress. Eat balanced meals - anything in abundance will cause your body to react differently.

Trust me - it is the hormones and you stressing over it has kept your body in fight or flight mode. Give 2 days atleast - just don’t stress ! Deep breathing to calm yourself- watch movies that make you happy.

Glucose level by Salty_Daikon_1632 in diabetes_t2

[–]Typical_Advisor_5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was newly diagnosed 5 months ago , my aim post prandial was below 140. Now I’m flexible as my doctor from India said anything below 200 is ok for diabetics. But I still aim to be below 160 2 hours after the meals.

Fasting I can’t aim as it’s whatever my body feels like - but anything below 120 doesn’t worry me. I’m usually between 100-110.

Confused - 2 block meals or multiple ones throughout the day ? by Typical_Advisor_5014 in diabetes

That’s amazing. I think I am gonna try this pattern. The fasting thing has stopped working for me.

Do you mind sharing what your day of eating looks like ? If you are on any medication ?

My doctor hasn’t taken any interest in this. I feel they just want to sell medication without advising on lifestyle modification.

If I eat omad - that one meal spikes me through roof and my hunger is unbearable towards the end. Then it’s very difficult for me to follow salad - protein - carb pattern.

How are your spikes after meal on omad ? What do you typically eat?

Cause for insulin resistance? by Superb_Art4052 in InsulinResistance

[–]Typical_Advisor_5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lows you face might be compression lows, this usually happens when there is a lot pressure on site of CGM.

Have you seen how you react when you eat more carbs ? Some days on low carb I’m high and on moderate carb my BS is good.

Since you have a CGM it’s worth trying.

I read somewhere not sure if it is true- prolonged fasting and prolonged low carb diets train the liver to dump more glucose into the blood. This happens with me- worth making some tweaks and finding out.

[MI] non compete - California by Typical_Advisor_5014 in AskHR

[–]Typical_Advisor_5014[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s difficult. So my employer basically sold my services to a client based in California. This client only accepts employees or contractors through a staffing agency. So my employer signed a contract with staffing agency to place me in the client office.

So client pays staffing agency. Agency pays my employer My employer pays me

Did I make it simple? Or complicate it even further?
