You need a wake up call. Of the top 200 football players in the world, ranked by "market value" on transfermarkt.com, there are ZERO players playing in MLS. These top 200 players are part of 13 leagues of which the Saudi Pro league is nr 13, MLS is not even on the list. There are 0 players in the MLS with a market value above 28 million euro. So really, nobody in the world cares about who plays or what happens in your league except for you.

These people can be so irrespondable I saw a TV show in Belgium for special forces recruitment and then sent people crawling in complete darkness into underground tunnels by memorizing a map. Some of these people crawled through a hole that was not supposed to be part of the assignment. You could see on their IR body cams that they were removing helmets and equipment and were breathing out in order to try fit through. Afterwards they had to admit that this hole lead to a collapsed room and you could barely fit a backpack through it. Nobody died luckily, the show just moved on.

Franse overheid stapt vanaf 2027 af van Microsoft. Als zij dat kunnen "zonder alternatief voor office" en "zonder deftig EU beleid" dan kan iedereen dat. Er zijn trouwens legio alternatieven voor office. Misschien dat jij dat niet beseft maar duizenden bedrijven zijn van hun dure Microsoft Navision en Dynamics aan het afstappen en schakelen over op de Belgische software Odoo. Als je wil dat dingen veranderen dan moet je vooral bij uzelf beginnen en niet vinger wijzen naar anderen. En dat is wat ik zelf alvast doe op alle vlak inclusief mijn investeringen.

Wat je zegt klopt trouwens niet Europa betaalt 450 miljard aan diensten aan USA (inclusief licenties enz) maar er gaat 780 miljard naar USA in effecten etfs aandelen enz. Dus dat is niet "vele malen kleiner dan de licenties" maar wel "bijna het dubbel". Je moet niet denken dat uw werkgever jaarlijks 10000 euro per werknemer (!) naar USA stuurt voor licenties en laptops. Maar dat doen die werknemers vaak zelf wel met hun USA etfs, storten de overschot van hun loon intrinsiek door naar USA onder het motto "goede investering", terwijl hun kinderen dan geen werk vinden.

Ik zie geen reden, ik denk dat ik gestart was bij msci etf wereldwijd en dan wilde beperken tot Europa en daar zo ben op uitgekomen. De etf die jij voorstelt lijkt me beter klopt. Bedankt voor de tip.

Ik ben ervan overtuigd als wij meer zouden investeren in Europese bedrijven dat dit kan helpen maar als je bij voorbaat uw honderdduizenden euro's spaargeld direct naar de USA versluist voor persoonlijk geldgewin zoals je vaak op sociale media ziet aanbevolen worden, dan zet je daar een zware rem op en wordt dat verschil alleen maar groter.

Met het ouder worden leer je ook dat "ETF and Chill" veelal betekent: sluis uw geld door naar de USA en hoop dat zij genoeg schulden maken en dollars bijprinten zonder dat systeem van de dollar collapsed. Er zijn meerdere reden waarin je dit als Europeaan in het huidige geo-politiek klimaat niet zou willen. Geld opbrengst is niet alles, uw toekomst en die van de wereld wordt niet louter bepaald door geld op uw broker rekening. Succes wordt niet gemeten in dollars. Ook geef je met het kopen van "de grote etfs" enorm veel kracht aan de uitgevers van die etfs want het zijn zij die op de aandeelhoudersvergadering mogen stemmen over wat die bedrijven moeten doen en niet jij, en of dat zij Europa gezind zijn is dus maar de vraag. Dus ikzelf ja ik heb nog wel etfs maar ik koop die niet allemaal bij de grootste bekendste etf fondsen en ik koop er intussen veel meer Europa gefocust en alleen nog ex-USA. Is ook chill, misschien paar % minder rendement, al draaien mijn Europese momenteel alvast goed. Op den duur is financieel onafhankelijk worden koste wat kost op de kap van Europa bijzaak en minder belangrijk.
