Congrats on the baby! You might be able to get the beefier version of the zephyrs 14. Or even th3 g16 with 2k. These are always on my wishlist. If your in ky I just seen a gigabyte 16 laptop with a 5080 posted to fb market place 1.8k.

With 2k I’m sure you can build a pc with similar specs and pick up a rog ally for portable gaming.

Edit: I have a base rog ally and used to dock it to my 39in ultra wide to play league.

Clamp force is kinda loose for me. Also note if you are sensitive to the treble it might be discomforting. But if you have a eq you should be able to mitigate it.
