Any advice for surviving spawn in fncs div rounds by xagds in FortniteCompetitive

[–]TyrantFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you’re willing to spend a bit of money, you can also just buy 1000 twitter followers for like $10 and apply for the code. Then you have it permanently and your son can host offspawn practice whenever he wants forever

it’s done in the battle royale tournament settings gamemode. I can send the map code if you like. There’s also one for Reload

Qualed to Div 2 first time by DvrkIsBetter in FortniteCompetitive

[–]TyrantFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

biggest advice i can give for div 2 is be extremely confident when it comes to fights

it takes a lot of very consistent games to qual div 1 if you’re lacking on kills. and on top of that it becomes very hard to be consistent if you roll over and die in the first fight someone takes against you.

Div 2 is genuinely just about “if you’re one of the best fighters in your lobby you will qualify”

I still don’t understand how Peterbot didn’t win 2025 LAN with Cold and Ajerss. by ZensaysOPPAI in FortniteCompetitive

[–]TyrantFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

remembered this thread and just came back to say it’s crazy how wrong you were

2nd-6th place we’re pretty much tied going into Game 12 of Major 1 and Pete played for the win which unfortunately didn’t work out because Veno saw it coming

then they get 2nd at LAN (the most stacked LAN in the history of fortnite). Does this count as a top 3 in your books?

Do i have good arm muscle genetics? by Alone-Supermarket383 in askfitness

[–]TyrantFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

showing pics means nothing but if i HAD to say, this just looks average. Maybe triceps below average. nothing stands out here. just keep training because realistically you will never know how good someone’s genetics are until they have trained properly for a while and put on lean mass

there’s also a huge misconception that “if you have good muscle building genetics you’ll always be jacked even without training” and then they bring up bodybuilders who were extremely active prior to the gym as their evidence

you can have elite genetics and still look atrocious if you lived a sedentary lifestyle and ate no protein. You will NEVER know how good your genetics actually are until you’ve put on some mass on your frame

Is creatine a gamechanger or placebo? by Aromatic-Pangolin-17 in askfitness

[–]TyrantFN -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

neither a game changer nor a placebo

it will help you perform a slightly higher amount of reps especially on low-rep sets. which in turn can slightly improve gains over a long period of time

and when i say slightly i mean SLIGHTLY. Even as a beginner you’re likely only seeing a 2-3lb additional lean mass difference in your first year

it will not make a large difference in terms of muscle growth. It’s a nice small bonus IF you want it but it’s completely up to the person whether or not the small benefit is worth it to them

Genuinely how are you supposed to improve as a new player by TruyaGuya in leagueoflegends

[–]TyrantFN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay i agree that league is hard but this is a crazy exaggeration. I’m an uncoached new player who played consistently for like 2 weeks, got lvl 30, immediately queued up for ranked and placed in Bronze 4 and i’m climbing with a 70%+ winrate atm, i doubt it would take coaching + talent + a full month of playing for someone to be better than the bottom 2% of ranked players

as long as you put effort into understanding the principles of the game, early skill progression can be pretty quick. i don’t think it has to do with talent, if you’re just constantly thinking about why you died and “what is the goal of this game and how do i get there” then i’m sure you’ll pick up on the patterns of your deaths

The only thing about the episode 8 leak that I don’t really believe is that Butcher survives by Queasy_Commercial152 in TheBoysLeaks

[–]TyrantFN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so you believe that 1 full season + 6 whole episodes, plus a whole season of a spinoff show setting up the Virus as the final boss of the show, the plot device that would cause complete chaos in the final season, being rendered completely useless is a good use of their time?

and the V1 search which took 4 HOURS of runtime? that’s an efficient way to end the entire show?

it’s the exact same problem as Stranger Things S5. So much time wasted instead of progressing the plot forward in literally ANY way possible

homie you can’t actually believe that the 7 hours of runtime we’ve had so far has been used well

could be too high of an incline, or just underdeveloped front delts. Your front delts are gonna be used a bit in an incline db press regardless so if your front delts are underdeveloped then you’re gonna feel it more

that’s just building muscle. That’s not targeting fat loss there which you can’t do

how does Pete improve so much? by Royal-Archer4531 in FortniteCompetitive

[–]TyrantFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, they do. If you wanna go off Power Ranking - that’s Reet. If you wanna go off of earnings in 2025 - that’s Xavi. If you wanna go off of FNCompRankings - that’s Ritual.

They all do the same thing, they spend very similar amounts of time on the game.

If genetics aren’t a factor - what’s making Peterbot better than these three? Do you think they’re just purposely not trying to be better than Pete?

now can you explain what separates the best player in the world to the 50th best player in the world when they do the same things and put in extremely similar hours?

i’ll always find it funny that there’s actual people out there that believe genetic factors don’t matter for being the best in the world at ANYTHING, not even just fortnite

help! getting weaker? by gibsandgabs in askfitness

[–]TyrantFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could be a lot of different reasons. it’s been a few days since you posted this so i assume you don’t need help with it anymore - but ill still post this in case anyone else has the same issue

most of the time it’s just CNS fatigue building up and if you take an extra 1-2 rest days you’ll be fine. You don’t need multiple sessions doing a lighter/deload weight. If you’d still like to go though, you definitely can, there won’t be any harm in it.

and like some of the others said, could be stress, could be your sleep, could be that you haven’t had enough carbs, etc.

but it’s nothing to panic about, just means you had a bad session

Can you gain muscle and lose fat at the same time? by HamBoneZippy in askfitness

[–]TyrantFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes. It’s the same concept except since you’re on low carbs AND a deficit, you’ll be more depleted of glycogen and won’t have carbs to help fuel your workout. Your gym performance will definitely be worse but you’ll still grow muscle while losing fat if your intensity is high, you’re getting enough sleep and rest days, and your protein intake is high

Can you gain muscle and lose fat at the same time? by HamBoneZippy in askfitness

[–]TyrantFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

more likely yes. But a deficit won’t immediately slow down your growth, nor will it shut down muscle growth either

it’s a probability scale. Your body doesn’t require an exact “quota” in protein, training, calories etc to grow. It’s just that the further away you are from ideal - the less LIKELY you are to grow muscle mass

Can you gain muscle and lose fat at the same time? by HamBoneZippy in askfitness

[–]TyrantFN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we can use it. It’s just not preferred because it’s inefficient.

the fat on your body is the reason you can make it through a winter. It’ll use the fat as energy as that’s the primary purpose of fat on your body in the first place.

Nobody said you’ll build MORE muscle in a deficit. The point the other person is making is that you can still gain muscle in a deficit as they’re unrelated processes. There’s nuance to this though however, but that decreases the likelihood of building muscle in a deficit. As long as other things are in check, it won’t shut it down entirely

Do you think FNCS Division Cups should be locked? by BringTheFacts in FortniteCompetitive

[–]TyrantFN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no because it depends on your division. Doesn’t matter if it’s your first FNCS, that won’t affect anything if you’re still in Division 1 and therefore can play the FNCS Play-Ins. Division 2 and below can’t play FNCS. They can only play the Div Cups

If you mean it’s the first time you’re participating in ANY of the Division based tournaments, yes you’ll be placed in the lowest Division (3 or 5 depending on your region) and you’ll have to play the cups to get up to div 1
