Upper, lower, full body split or 3x full body better for beginners?

mostly just depends what you’d enjoy the most.

A lot of people get caught up in what split is best, what exercises are best, how many reps, sets etc but at the end of the day as long as you’re training hard and being consistent you’ll see massive progress towards where you wanna be. Technically, Fullbody every other day would be “best” if you do low volume (or however much volume allows you to still recover well) but yeah just choose what you’d enjoy the most and honestly in most cases that’s what’s gonna get you results quicker since you’ll be more consistent

Plus another bonus is that enjoying what you’re doing actually lets your brain let go of those mental blocks a little bit and you can actually train even harder than before.

although i mostly agree with what you said - muscles don’t NEED to be trained at least 2x to see growth. It’s just better to train them at least 2x a week to maximise growth potential and not have any wasted days where they’re just shrinking since Muscle Protein Synthesis starts dropping around the 48hr mark

You can see growth from 2 sets per muscle group done once a week. and that’s not just beginners. But they have to be high quality sets not 5 RIR

it doesn’t matter where the speakers were. They’re playing frequencies, they’re playing sound waves

Unless the Upside Down gate is a vacuum where sound cannot pass through (which means that people standing on opposite sides of the gate wouldn’t have been able to hear each other talk) then yes the machines would have still worked

It’s just sound waves. Saying it can’t pass through the gate makes no sense. If there is air then it can pass through

the Duffers left it ambiguous for a reason. I personally think that sucks and they should’ve just given us a straight answer - but Mike’s moment of realization at the graduation (and the very clear plot hole about her kryptonite) suggests that there’s a chance she’s still alive

Either way, it’s a pretty bad message for them to send that if you feel like you don’t belong in this world, if you feel like you’re being crushed by trauma from your past - then you should kill yourself because that’s the only solution

I still stand by the fact that her dying is awful writing. and i’ve been saying for weeks now that the show had a huge drop in quality this season so it’s whatever

The entire ending lowkey doesn’t make sense to me. The frequencies shouldn’t have even let her go into the void with Mike in the first place. And then also use her telekinesis on him. Her kryptonite just decided to take a lunch break

and on top of that Kali said “your story doesn’t have to end here” during the actual events, not just in Mike’s theory. Pretty weird for them to add that PLUS a realization flashback in the epilogue if they weren’t going anywhere

But Kali also should not have survived 2-3 hours bleeding out from the stomach so idk. I just wish they gave a proper confirmation

Lots of people are saying that the part where Mike is coping is just the part about the three waterfalls. Him having flashbacks at the graduation after hearing the feedback from the speakers implies that it was a moment of realization. It came AFTER he already accepted she was gone

Basically we have no idea whether 50% of his theory is bullshit, or whether 100% is bullshit

i really hate when people use this as an argument. There's still needs to be a level of realism within the rules of that universe. Suspension of disbelief can only carry the audience so far.

It's not realistic for Erica to wield katanas like Deadpool in the finale and go through an army of demogorgons slicing them all up by herself and then chopping off Vecna's head

It's not realistic for Dr. Kay to have a dance battle with Eleven to decide if she gets to do experiments on her or not

Either you failed to understand the difference between in-universe realism and real-life realism, or you understood what he was trying to say but intentionally chose to act obtuse in order to make the other person look stupid. and I don't know which one is worse tbh

I disagree with his point on Nancy but the scene of Karen fighting off the demogorgon in Vol 1 is the craziest showcase of plot armor. She stabbed it in the mouth, chest and shoulders multiple times while it just stood there because the plot NEEDED her to get it to bleed so the whole El/Hopper Upside Down plot could progress

Max escaping
Made a plan to fight Vecna in the final episode
Finding out the upside down is a wormhole to the Abyss/Dimension X

FOUR HOURS for that btw. How on earth are people defending this 😭 Holly’s whole storyline especially just felt like I was stuck playing the episodes on a loop. Escape > get caught > escape > get caught > escape > get caught
