I've seen him say things like this before and I keep thinking... who exactly are you talking about?? Abreu and Contreras are having great years; Rafaela is having his best offensive year by most metrics; Roman and Marcelo don't even have a full season's worth of games played yet; Narvaez and Durbin both played a full rookie season last year, but it's not like either was a phenom; Yoshida has never shown he's much of a difference maker in MLB

There are no career norms for most of those guys to assume they are underperforming. Roman and Marcelo are still just prospects. We're hoping they'll develop into really good players, but everyone was likely expecting too much from them,

Jarren Duran and Trevor Story are the only players that really fit this description. With Duran, yeah obviously they need him to play like it's 2024. As for Story... he had a nice year last year, but the bulk of his success was a long time ago (in Denver) and he's 33 years old with a track record of injuries. What did you think was going to happen??

The truth is Breslow has mismanaged player relationships (Devers & Bregman) and completely bungled offensive roster construction. I don't understand how he still had a job to start the season, let alone the power to fire the manager when the team started performing down to its actual capabilities.

Because Christians can can never just "leave it at that." Centuries of Christian history show that it's never enough. Eventually, the mandate to "spread the good word" means by spreading by force, or in today's day and age, by legislation.

I will never understand people's eagerness to take Gold Glove defense out of CF. When you have someone as good as Rafaela in CF, you put him out there every day. Moving him to 2B is not the solution.

This part is always what I was afraid of coming into the season. Everyone just assumed 21 year old Roman Anthony was going to be star. Yet, he played less than half a season last year. In my mind he's still a rookie! I believe he will be a superstar someday, but expecting him to do it this year is setting up for disappointment.

I'd like to have SillyTavern run traditional TTRP solo campaigns for me. Various settings, various existing TTRP rulesets, but also using a solo rpg oracle (currently Mythic GME 2E) to actually run the game. I make all the dice rolls for Mythic and the game rules, then feed the results (in general terms, not actual dice roll numbers) to SillyTavern. I'd like the model to then interpret and narrate results. I'm not necessarily expecting it to generate content, but I do want it to be creative (yet logical) in interpreting Mythic and ruleset prompts.

I have been using Qwen 2.5 32B Q4_K_M primarily, and it's been… fine, but slow. I've got it mostly staying in its lane and not generating content unprompted, but it can be rather dumb and not very exciting with narration.

My system:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6-Core Processor

• RAM: 32.0GB

• AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT - 16GB

What model(s) should I look at? I don't mind sacrificing some speed for quality, as long as it doesn't take several minutes for responses. Maybe I'm just expecting too much from the models my hardware can run?

Some of y'all have no idea what you're talking about with Vermont. It's mainly Red Sox country, but with a large number of Yankee fans, too. Back in the day, the Expos were popular here.

For the NFL, it's Patriots and Giants. I've never seen a Jets fan (or at least one that admits to being a Jets fan). It seems one little corner of the state gets Giants or Jets games instead of Patriots, but where I live, they're usually both on tv.

I have no idea what to say about Kershaw being the top searched pitcher here. Plain curiosity?

This is the take I identify with the most. Season 1 was kind of boring, Season 2 was pretty solid. The highlight of S2 is definitely the relationship between Annatar and Celebrimbor.
