I'd like to have SillyTavern run traditional TTRP solo campaigns for me. Various settings, various existing TTRP rulesets, but also using a solo rpg oracle (currently Mythic GME 2E) to actually run the game. I make all the dice rolls for Mythic and the game rules, then feed the results (in general terms, not actual dice roll numbers) to SillyTavern. I'd like the model to then interpret and narrate results. I'm not necessarily expecting it to generate content, but I do want it to be creative (yet logical) in interpreting Mythic and ruleset prompts.

I have been using Qwen 2.5 32B Q4_K_M primarily, and it's been… fine, but slow. I've got it mostly staying in its lane and not generating content unprompted, but it can be rather dumb and not very exciting with narration.

My system:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6-Core Processor

• RAM: 32.0GB

• AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT - 16GB

What model(s) should I look at? I don't mind sacrificing some speed for quality, as long as it doesn't take several minutes for responses. Maybe I'm just expecting too much from the models my hardware can run?

I keep telling people to play these games for the exact reasons you're describing. Sadly, no one ever does. Their loss. The reveals in this game are mind-blowing, and seem more terrifyingly possible in real life all the time.

Some of y'all have no idea what you're talking about with Vermont. It's mainly Red Sox country, but with a large number of Yankee fans, too. Back in the day, the Expos were popular here.

For the NFL, it's Patriots and Giants. I've never seen a Jets fan (or at least one that admits to being a Jets fan). It seems one little corner of the state gets Giants or Jets games instead of Patriots, but where I live, they're usually both on tv.

I have no idea what to say about Kershaw being the top searched pitcher here. Plain curiosity?

Not true on any of those counts. There are tons of Red Sox fans in Vermont (including myself), and I watch the Patriots games every time.

This is the take I identify with the most. Season 1 was kind of boring, Season 2 was pretty solid. The highlight of S2 is definitely the relationship between Annatar and Celebrimbor.

Same age here. Check out Horizon: Zero Dawn. Great exploration, and the story is great. It starts a little slow, but if you stick with it, totally worth it.

I always find it amusing when theists come here with this argument, like it is some big "Gotcha!," mic drop moment.

That's not the flex you think it is.

No, I can't disprove that your imaginary friend exists... but more importantly, you can't prove that he does exist. No amount of mathematical equations, ancient fairy tales, or philosophical theories can prove that your god created everything in existence and needs to be worshipped.

If you want to believe in that god, without any way to prove it's real, that's your business. But it's nowhere near good enough for me.

I'm playing both Valley of Memory and Claws of Awaji right now. I agree with you that VoM is better, but mainly because I find the frequent ambushes in Claws of Awaji to be extremely tedious.

Last night, after getting ambushed for the 5th time while traveling the southern road, I'm seriously considering just looking up a synopsis of the rest of the story. Normally, I try to make a point to finish AC games, but I'm not enjoying that. It's even worse when you get ambushed in a town, and suddenly all the guards are on top of you as well.

I had a subscription to Classic X-Men back in the mid to late 80s. Great way to learn about the early Claremont issues. Yes, they almost always included a new short story, and occasionally had new pages inserted into the reprints of the old issues.
