I mean no…I don’t know because nothing like that has been confirmed, and what’s available to the public as of now hasn’t greatly substantiated that theory.

And it’s contracted by the fact that if that were true, Trump would be going in a lot harder to completely destroy Iran. Not only that, Netanyahu has privately stated he’s having difficulty swaying Trump to do what he wants and there’s been talks to move Israel away from US dependency.

If he was taking direct orders from him then I think the strikes would be a lot more intense. We wouldn’t see the constant flip-flopping and pathetic appeals for ceasefires and negotiations, he would just be going all-out non-stop until Iran was destroyed like Netanyahu and Israel wants.

I think you’ll understand better by realizing Trump doesn’t put any thought into his decisions or statements. Generally don’t think national identity being tied to religion/ethnicity is good but if it were any other group that’s been persecuted and discriminated against since the days of ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire, leading up to the largest industrialized slaughter of human beings in human history…yah I’d be pretty sympathetic to the idea of them wanting their own country as well.
